Loki was seated on the edge of the bed with his head facing his lap, watching himself twiddle with his fingers as Elisabete was sat right next to him. She placed her hand on his shoulder and leaned in towards him as she smiled. He slowly turned to face her with his brow furrowed as his eyes looked over her face. She laid a soft kiss to the corner of his mouth and patted his thigh, keeping her hand there.

"Go on. I'm here for you." Elisabete whispered.

"I don't know if I can say this. I don't want you to leave me." Loki told her.

"Loki, my love, I'm not going to leave you. I'm here for you to support you in every way because I love you. Nothing you've said or have done in the past will change how I feel about you. I know who you truly are and I know you've changed for the better. All I want is to know the real you." Elisabete explained to him.

Loki smiled weakly as he laid his hand over hers that laid on his thigh and squeezed it. He simply nodded his head and took a deep breath as he stood up straight, preparing himself to finally reveal the real him to Elisabete. As he tried to gather his thoughts and his words, he appreciated that Elisabete sat beside him patiently, not once trying to hurry him up or badger him to hear the story. She waited and he loved that.

"You swear you won't turn yourself from me?" Loki asked.

"I swear, I-"
"Because I'll understand if you do. It's what everyone's done before." Loki interjected.

"Loki, I swear on the life of our child...I will never turn myself from you." Elisabete told him.

He snapped his head to look up at her and then glanced down at her belly for a moment before returning his gaze to her face. He smiled weakly as Elisabete squeezed his shoulder and took his hand in hers.

"You are my husband and, truly, the love of my life. Please tell me what you're so afraid to share." Elisabete said softly.

Loki looked down in his lap and took a few deep breaths before biting his lip. Elisabete waited for him to gather his thoughts and grinned with anticipation. However, her smile did not express how she was feeling inside. She wondered how horrible Loki's confession would be and she was scared of what he might say. She was finally going to learn all there was about him and she was worried she may not like it. She knew she loved him and would do anything for him, even meaning that she would stay by his side as his queen and his wife no matter how shocking his confession will be to her.

He ran his hands over his thighs and exhaled sharply, sitting up straight and turning to look at Elisabete. He nodded his head and Elisabete beamed. Although she was smiling, Loki could tell she was nervous. Her hand shook slightly as it laid on his thigh and her eyes were wide with fear.

"It all began when I had found out I was Jotun," Loki started. "I wanted to have a bit of fun and got a few Frost giants to come and ruin Thor's coronation. Because of this, Thor wanted answers and I may or may not have persuaded him to go to against Odin's wishes to stay away from Jotunheim."

"I remember this. News got back to us about Thor's banishment. I never knew it was about that." Elisabete stated.

"Well, mother and Odin decided to keep it secret among our court members. He had recruited me, the Warrior's Three, and Lady Sif to go with him. There, he provoked the king, Laufey, and Laufey provoked him. As a result, we fought to try and return home. In the midst of the battle, one of the giants wrapped his...his hand around my wrist here," Loki told her, stopping to point to his left wrist and sighing with content as she put her hand around it, caressing the skin. "Soon enough, my whole hand and forearm turned blue along with the markings. I was so distraught I killed him and watched as it faded away when he let go. After returning and watching Thor be banished, Odin found me in the weapon's vault."
