CHAPTER TWENTY EIGHT

'Enough about me, how are you doing? We heard about your accident, that wasn't so accidental if you ask me...'' Said Mihika

'Ms Bobby Jasoos please stop. I was an accident really and I am absolutely fine' Said Ishita

'Yeah whatever your preaching honey, remember I have a spy here and I get everything first hand.'' Said Mihika clearly meaning Ruhi

'Okay enough about that, Is the person who is the reason you came her going to stay outside forever or are we going to chitchat until it gets dark.'' Asked Ishita

Abhimanyu and Mihika all first kept quiet for a while and looked at each other before Mihika stood up to go and tell Jai to come in.

'Ishu please go soft on him...'' Said Abhimanyu as the door opened and Jai walked in.

Ishita looked as his brother timidly walked into the room taking few strides each step he took. He was looking down the entire time because he didn't have the courage see the way Ishita was looking at him. When he finally made his way into the living room where Ishita was sitting, he just stood still and didn't utter a word.

There was an awkward silence in the room and Abhimanyu and Mihika kept looking at each other each hoping the other does something because this wasn't going anywhere.

Jai and Ishita were what you call old fashioned siblings, unless you knew there story you would never guess that they were not blood related, they always fought and bickered like all siblings do but they had one principle that no matter how angry they were with each other, they would never let it affect their relationship. They would always make up at the end of it all and become best of friends but this fight they were having was bad.

Ishita was the one person you would wish is your corner when things got bad because she is the most relentless and loyal person you would ever met but she also had one principle of her own, when she gave up on someone, that was it, no matter how much you needed her, she would never turn her head because then that was it.

Jai went back to Mumbai with the hope that his sister's anger would cool off and maybe she would eventually call him like she always did but this time, nothing like that happened. He knew that this was bad and he had to fix it.

'Ishu where is that sweet daughter of yours, Ruhi, I want to meet her.'' Said Abhimanyu just so the tension in the room could just calm down a little

'She is up stairs with her brother, Aditya'' said Ishita as she was still looking at Jai

'Oh I really wanted to say hello...'' said Abhimanyu

'I will take you to her she in her room...'' Said Ishita as she tried to get up

'Oh no please let me, besides I haven't seen that beautiful angel in a very long time...'' Said Mihika as she got up and grabbed Abhimanyu with her leaving the room before Ishita changed her mind

Ishita knew exactly what her sister and best friend were trying to do and knew much as she really didn't want to deal with this; it was something that was inevitable

'So how are you feeling...'' she finally heard Jai talk

'Doing alright actually, you...'' she asked

'Am okay...'' answered Jai before another round of awkward silence began

'Are you okay?'' Said

'You asked me that already...'' said Ishita coldly
