CHAPTER SEVENTY SIX
Ishita had been going to therapy for a month now and as much as she tried to put a positive spin on it, she wouldn't lie to her therapist. So she would always show up and talk about everyone and everything else but herself.
'Ishita we have been going at this for the last couple of weeks and I have to say we are not getting anywhere.'' Said Vidya
'Am sorry... I am not sure I get what you mean...'' Said Ishita
'I think you know exactly what I am talking about...'' said Vidya as she sternly looked at Ishita
'Well what do you want me to do. You wanted me to come to therapy and I did, what else do you want from me?'' said Ishita as she got defensive
'I wanted you to come... Is that why you're here? Because someone wanted you to come'' Said Vidya
'That's not what I meant...'' He said again defensively
'Why are you here Ishita?'' asked Vidya as she patiently waited for Ishita to answer that question
'Because I want to get better, I have to get better...'' Ishita answered
                              'Why...'' Said Vidya
'Because it is... Just because...'' said Ishita
'Ishita just because Raman asked you to come here is not reason enough, you have to want to get better, you have to want to tackle your fears and not worry about anything else. Not even Raman...'' Said Vidya looking at Ishita but she just kept quiet
'The trauma you went through as unbelievable and may wouldn't have survived that. True your husband has played a very important role in trying to assist because from what I can see he is the reason you still have your sanity. But to get better than you are now, it has to come from you...'' she added but Ishita just kept quiet as tears begun to fill her eyes
Vidya as her job required was very patient with Ishita and the fact that she had spent some time with her outside meant she had learnt a thing or two about her. Ishita was the most fearless person she had ever come across but like everyone she had a weak spot, Raman, he was her lynch pin. As much as he was her strength, he was also her weakness because disappointing him was something that scared the living shit out of her.
'Should we stop our session today because clearly we are not going to get anywhere with you just sitting there and not saying anything...'' Said Vidya to which Ishita suddenly said
'You won't tell him anything... Right... Not yet at least''
'I am your doctor not his, this is a private and safe place, whatever you're going to tell me stays between us...'' Said Vidya reassuringly
                              'You promise...'' Said Ishita
'I promise...'' Said Vidya who understood how hard this must have been for Ishita
'I see his eyes... Every time I close my eyes I see his eyes...'' said Ishita as tears filled her eyes to which Vidya handed her a box of tissues and sat back down
'I can't sleep if Raman is not around which is bizarre I know but for whatever reason I am scared of closing my eyes if Raman is not there to put his arms around me.'' She added as she wiped the tears that had streamed down her face
'I remember being in that abandoned building, I remember Tarish ripping my dress as I lay on the ground face down. But then he comes in and pushes Tarish off before he put out his hand and pulled me up. I had blood streaming down my face so I couldn't see clearly. He asked me if I was okay and then pulled me into him. He tried to hug me but I pushed him away that's when he slapped me. I feel head down and from there on I sort of don't remember much except his eyes as he looked at me his face so close to me I could hear him breath...'' Said talking in one breath like if she spoke any slower she would forget,
