"I've never thought about that."
"Yeah, I mean he could help you with all the teacher stuff you have to do."
"I'll look into that, Thanks Skylar."
"No problem, and with our class, I suggest you try and get one as soon as possible." I laughed.
"I'll do that, I'll see if he can start Monday. I have 5 days to get a helper."
"Actually 4 days. It's Wednesday so you have four days." I laughed
"Yeah yeah thanks." he laughed.
"Yup, so I'll just be going now, and I'll let you get started."
"Thank you, again Skylar."
"No problem Mr. Lovac. So I think I should get extra credit for that." I joked.
"Goodbye Ms. Harries." Mr. Lovac laughed.
I laughed, as I walked out of the room. I quickly skipped down to my locker and grabbed my backpack and everything else I needed.
I met James and Lily who were giggling and holding hands, making me smile.
"I'll never get over the fact that you two are together." I grinned.
"Now we just need to get you a man." Lily laughed.
"I'm perfectly fine with being single." I laughed.
"C'mon you've never even had a real boyfriend before." James teased.
"Hey! Jordan and I dated!" I protested.
"Yeah. Back in 7th grade." Lily said, raising an eyebrow.
"For 2 weeks might we add." James laughed.
"Alright alright! But hey I've had a few things within the past 5 years."
"Oh yeah? When was your last serious relationship?" James asked as we continued to walk to his house.
"Like 3 months ago."
"How far?"
"Just making out."
"How long was the relationship?"
"It was a two month thing."
"Official?"
"Yes."
"With who?"
"Nathan Lestrillo."
"And we didn't know because??" Lily questioned.
"Well, Lilypad. You were in Spain during the whole thing, and James was working with his grandpa for the summer. And I figured it didn't really matter." I laughed.
Lily pouted and James smiled, kissing her on the cheek which made her smile.
"Did you like him?" James asked, as we approached his house.
"I liked him a lot." I frowned.
"What happened? Like why did you guys break up?"
"We got into a lot of fights towards the end because he kept getting really overprotective and jealous. The usual."
"I'm sorry." Lily frowned, letting go of James hand so he could open the door.
"It's okay. I'm over it." I smiled, James holding the door open for us.
Or so I thought..
He held the door open, Lily stepping through and as I walked up, James slammed the door closed.
