The next two days, Chris isolated himself even more than before. He hardly ate and locked himself up in a room in Lara's house. He didn't see Kaya's body. He couldn't. He didn't even shed a tear after leaving the hospital. It was like Kaya took away all his feelings with her.
Everything he felt before he met Kaya, just got burgeoned to the point that he was senseless.
Chris felt even more depressed than before.
He felt more numb.
He was more broken.
He felt even more pain.
Emotionless.
And most of all, he felt lonelier than ever. Like a part of him was missing and the fact that he knew he can never find it was unbearable.
He didn't realize that he depended on Kaya so much.
But now that she's no more with him, he's just lost.
Completely lost without her.
Lost in total darkness.
