A week of consistent messaging passed. Gyeommie and I started talking in person slowly. Of course, I'm always with Dessa so it's awkward when she teases us even though he's just asking me to repeat what the professor said. But we're slowly getting used to it.
He said that since he calls me Gummy, I should also start calling him Gyeommie. It's cute that our nicknames sound alike. In school, they still call us by our names so the nicknames became somewhat our endearments.
It's been three months since we first met. They say relationships aren't measured on how long you've known a person. For others, it might seem pretty fast and I'm just feeling overwhelmed of the happiness I feel whenever I'm with Gyeommie.

I can't say things directly. That's the best I can do. It's not like he already said that he loves me. He only said he likes me once and then we never talked about it again. We become close and closer until even our friends start to notice that there's something going on.
Dessa? Well, she's just always asking what status we are and teasing us here and there. Last year, she couldn't link me to any guy because I don't hang out with any.
It's somewhat funny how having feelings for someone changes you little by little. Now I have plenty of close guy friends, not really as close as I am with Gyeommie, but there's Jackson, JB, and Mark who I sometimes joke with. Unlike before when they always see me look away.
