Chapter 4

Misty's POV

I walked around the mall I looking for a reasonable store to look in. I continued walking until I found forever 21. As I walk inside I am engulfed with little teenagers shopping for clothes that aren't fit for them. I wanted to laugh as I come across a little 9 year old asking her mother for a bright pink crop top. What is this world coming too?

I continue to look through the dress aisle when I found a beautiful mint dress with a bow cut out on the back. I immediately take it off the rack and walk to the fitting room. There was a long line as always so I stood there and opened my phone to an unseen text from Jess.

-How's the mall? Did you find something you liked? Xx

I replied to her.

- yes actually I found this really cute dress!

She replied 5 minutes later.

I walked into a fitting room and pulled on the dress. the dress fit so comfortably and the material was soft. I loved it. I quickly took a picture and opened the door to the fitting room. I thank the worker as I give her the number card back. I looked back down and sent the picture to Jess. When I looked up I bumped into this girl.

"Oh my Gosh I'm so sorry!"

I say as I pick up her clothes.

"Watch it bitch!"

She gave me a menacing look so I walked away quietly.

"Your total will be 20 pounds."

I pay it and take my bag out of the store. I continued walking around looking for more stores to look it when I came across the sweet smell of the food court. As soon as the scent filled my nose, my stomach growled calling me to the area.

I walked around looking for a place to eat until I found Panda Express my favorite. I walk up to the long line and stood behind a tall boy. I opened my bag and looked at the dress I bought. I was excited to wear it.

"Hey babe!"

I hear a girl voice speak in front of me.

I ignored it and continued to scroll through twitter.

"Hey."

The boy in front of me said. Wait that voice. No it couldn't be. I turned my phone off and looked up. Out of all the people it had to be Calum. Calum fucking Hood. Luckily they were kissing so I took this as my cue to turn around and look back down on my phone. my heart was beating fast. I ached to see Calum happy with her. I just wanted to get food and get out of here already. that's when I heard

"That's the bitch that stepped on my dress babe that's her!"

She nearly screamed at me. I didn't turn around but I could feel her eyes burning into me.

"Turn around you little coward!"

I Turned around silently looking at the girl instead of Calum.

"That's right now babe yell at her!"

I gave her a disgusted look. Wow she's really pushy and bossy. How could Calum love her? I waited for Calum to say something but he stood quiet.

"Babe why aren't you yelling?!?!?"

Wow this girl was a complete bitch.

"I-I can't."

Calum stuttered as he talked quietly. I took this as my chance to look at him. His facial expression was a mix of confusion and shock. Then the girl spoke again. God how could Calum live with her?
