Chapter 8

Misty's POV

I woke up because I heard my phone buzzing on the nightstand beside me. I opened my eyes and looked around. Where was I? oh yeah I'm at Calum's. I checked my phone to see a message from Jess.

-Where are you M? Xx

-I'm at Calum's sorry I fell asleep!

I closed my phone as I rolled out of his bed. I checked the time 8:45. wow it was late. I opened Calum's door quietly and walked out into the hall back to the living room. But before I reached the living room I heard Luke, Michael, and Ashton talking to Calum.

"Don't mess up this time mate."

I think that was Michael.

"I'll try not to."

Calum.

"I'm just scared I'll make a mistake and lose her like i did last time."

"You won't Calum. She came back for you for a reason okay? Just make sure she's safe and make sure you are only hers and she is only yours."

Ashton.

They all stopped talking so I walked out into the open and pretended I didn't hear anything.

"Oh hey guys."

I gave them a wave and they all stood up except for Calum.

"Misty!!"

They all shouted in unison. After they gave me a group hug I figured it was time to go back to Jess's house.

"Calum can you drop me off at Jess's?"

"You don't want to stay? It's an hour drive away so you won't get there until 10."

"You're welcome to stay here tonight if you want!"

I heard Luke as he walked to the kitchen. I thought about It until I shrugged.

"Okay but I didn't bring any clothes or a toothbrush."

"No worries I'll let you borrow my clothes and I'll find you a toothbrush."

Calum winked at me as he walked back to his room.

"Thanks."

I managed to say as my cheeks became pink again. I walked back to Calum's room too find my phone to tell Jess that I was going to stay the night at Calum's.

-Hey Jess! hope you don't mind, I'm staying the night at Calum's!

She replied almost right away.

-Sure thing! See you tomorrow! Xx

Then she texted me again. I almost choked on my own spit.

-P.s. Don't forget to use protection M! (;

I shut off my phone and jumped as Calum giggled behind me. Was he behind me the whole time?

"Oh my god Calum! Did you just read that?"

I yelled at him playfully slapping his arm away.

"Maybe."

He said winking at me and sitting beside me. He handed me nicely folded clothes with a toothbrush on top.

"Here you go now brush up."

"Thanks Cal."

I took the clothes and rushed to the bathroom peeling the dress off of my body and stepping into the shower.

I walked out of the shower and realized I forgot a towel. Wow Goodjob Misty. so I did the only thing I could do at the moment. I opened the door a little bit and yelled for Calum.
