Chapter 7

Calum's POV

I turned off the engine to my car and hopped out of it before Misty could open her side. I figured that if I opened doors for her then she would realize how much I really cared for her.

I led her up to the door and unlocked it.

"Helloo? Is anyone home?"

I was hoping that the boys were out so we could have the house to ourselves. No one answered so i figured that everyone went out to get brunch or something. Misty walked over to the couch and sat down. I went over to the stack of movies that the boys and I brought along. I was scanning through the movies until I came across The Last Song. I held it up looking for her approval. She just nodded and smiled at me. I played the movie and sat next to her wondering if I could atleast hold her close. But then thank god she scooted next to me. I took this as my chance to wrap my arms around her waist.

She didn't seem to flinch so I held her closer.

I miss this so much.

I miss us.

But what were we right now?

Was she mine or does she still hate me for leaving her.

"What are we exactly, Misty?"

She had her head on my shoulder when she turned to look up at me.

"We are whatever we want to be."

She simply answered making me think.

I ignored it and continued the movie. Halfway into the movie I thought of a question to ask her. Does she still love me after all these years or does she have no feelings for me?

"Hey Misty? Can I ask you a question?"

I whispered hoping for an answer but she didn't reply. I took my eyes off of the TV and looked down to my shoulder. She was fast asleep. She seemed so innocent and peaceful. I quickly carried her to my bedroom and laid her down laying a blanket on her. she stirred for a while but fell back asleep. I walked out quietly turning off the TV. I checked the time. It was 5:45.

I headed to my bathroom in my room hoping to not wake Misty up from her slumber.

I opened my drawers and picked up basketball shorts. As I closed it I heard her stir again so I went into the bathroom to shower and take the gel out of my hair.

I got out of the shower and pulled on my shorts. I walked out of the bathroom tossing my dirty clothes into a hamper and checking if Misty was awake yet. she was still sleeping so I let her sleep. It was 6:45 already. I was hoping that she would stay the night with me.

I walked out to heat up some pizza for dinner because I didn't want to leave Misty. As soon as I closed the door slowly I heard a voice that made me jump.

"Hey Cal! When did you come home?"

It was Michael.

"I came home around 4."

"Really? I was here why didn't you call me?"

I wasn't surprised if he was here. He was probably playing computer games or something.

"Who's in there?"

Michael pointed to my door closed. I didn't reply so he asked again louder.

"Cal who's in there? You don't usually close the door"

"Okokok it's Misty."

"Misty?"

Michael seemed surprised.

"She's here with you?!"

I nodded and tried to get past him to get to the fridge but he stopped me.

"Don't mess up again Cal."

And at that he left and went back into his room to play more computer games.

I sighed and went to go heat up my food.
