Chapter 23

Calum's POV

I took the keys out of the ignition and sat in my car scared to go in the house to face Luke. I didn't know what to do. I'm a screwed up mess.

Why did I have to meet Mona in the first place? Why didn't I let go of her? My head hurt and I needed help. I slowly opened the car door and walked up to the house door. I took a deep breath before unlocking it and going it to be questioned by Luke and who knows could be there with him.

I closed the door behind me quietly and made my way to my room to drop my stuff off.

"Calum."

I heard Luke through my door way as I threw my clothes in the dirty hamper. I looked up but my back was still facing him.

I felt a hand on my shoulder turning me towards him.

"What did you do?"

I swallowed and clenched my jaw to think of ways to tell Luke without him freaking out and lashing out on me.

I heard Luke sigh and sit down on my bed clasping his hands together.

"You went to Mona's house again."

It was more of a statement than an answer. I didn't say anything so I looked down at him scared.

"Calum why?"

His face twisted in anger but his voice was still calm.

"She called and told me everything."

I looked away and sat down beside him.

"Everything as in what? And why would you go?"

"Everything as in why she was acting like how she was the day that Misty was at the mall with us."

"Why would you go over there? Calum, I know you did something you regretted there."

I groaned and laid back on the bed covering my face with my arms.

"I kissed her Luke. I kissed Mona. I forgot about Misty. I forgot."

My voice cracked and I didn't realize that I was crying until Luke pulled my arm away and my sight became blurry.

"She was worried about you Cal, she really was."

Luke stood up and walked to the doorway.

"She was worried about you and she cried."

He stuffed his hands into his pockets and walked out of the door leaving me alone.

I didn't know what to do. I was angry at myself. I took my pillow and chucked it at the opposite wall screaming to take out my anger. I took my phone and ran my fingers through my hair unlocking it and going through my messages with Misty.

I scrolled down not reading any other messages but I read the most recent one which was two hours ago.

-Please be safe ): I love you.

I felt like crap my head hurt and I didn't feel right. Nothing was right.

And it was all my fault.

The worst part about this was that Misty didn't know and that she still loved me like I was innocent. we only had a week left before we were going to leave to go on tour.

I stood up to go to the bathroom to wash my face and clean myself up to sleep. I was tired of everything.

Everything would've been better if I could rewind.
