ZANE P.O.V.~

I was waiting for everyone to get ready to put a stop to Samukai. I was trying to think of a plan to sneak in so it would be easier for all of us.

"Zane?" I heard someone say, but I recognized the voice as Lloyd. The child in him was still heard in his voice, but there was also a maturity there now that he was a teen, and because of that, it brings a uniqueness to Lloyd that I really love.

"Yes Lloyd?" I said, looking back at him.

"Umm... I'm ah-" said Lloyd, stuttering and messing up his words a bit more than usual.

"You're nervous?" I asked.

"Umm... Yes.. is that bad?" Asked Lloyd, looking at me with those beautiful green eyes of his, another part of him that I truly loved.

"It is not bad that you feel nervous, Lloyd. Everyone gets nervous about things."

"But I'm a ninja, Zane. The green ninja! I shouldn't be nervous..." Lloyd then looked down and rubbed his arm.

"Lloyd." I put my hand on Lloyd's shoulder and smiled softly, which made him look up at me. "Just because you're the green ninja, doesn't mean you can't be nervous. It's also understandable because if I remember, you've never fought against Samukai before."

"Ya I guess that's why I'm nervous." Said Lloyd.

"Well you'll be alright, Lloyd." I said, rubbing Lloyd's shoulder calmly. "Samukai is just like the others we've faced. I mean, he's different because he's a skeleton, that's about it. His army isn't that bright either."

Just as I stated that, Lloyd softly laughed and smiled at me, which even helped myself as much as my statement helped Lloyd.

"You've also got us, Lloyd." I said, which made Lloyd smile a bit more. I even noticed a hint of blush in his cheeks.

"You're right, Zane. I feel much better already."

"I'm glad you do, Lloyd." I removed my hand from Lloyd's shoulder just in case so Lloyd doesn't end up getting uncomfortable. I wouldn't want Lloyd to feel like he needs to be uncomfortable by me. After all... Lloyd is someone I truly care about, but I do care about him differently than others. Lloyd is someone I want to be with, but only if he accepts and is comfortable with being more than friends. I will not push Lloyd, nor will I make my feelings obvious. I want Lloyd to be happy and comfortable, not feel like he needs to make a decision.

I finally steer away from my thoughts and looks over at Lloyd, who was standing closer to me than before. He wasn't as nervous, but I could still see a bit of fear in his eyes. I smiled and softly ruffled Lloyd's hair to make him stop thinking too much. Lloyd then looked at me and smiled, a smile that I would never forget.

"We're ready now. Sorry it took so long."

Lloyd and I turned around and seen Cole standing there, Jay and Kai walking up behind him.

"Alright then. Let's go." I said. We all got on the ultra dragon and got ready, Sensei Wu also getting on the dragon. Cole was going to take the reins since Lloyd wasn't sure how to make it to the Underworld while trying to ride a dragon with all of us on. I sat behind Lloyd, ready to go as well as everyone else.

I decided to sneak a glace at Lloyd and I noticed that those beautiful emerald eyes of his still had a bit of fear in them. I put my hand on his shoulder again, which made him turn his head to look back at me.
