Going On The Date With Him (Kai x Ash)

KAI P.O.V.~

I took a deep breath and looked at myself in the mirror. I was super nervous about today and I couldn't really think straight.

A few days ago, Ash asked me out at the park. He carved the question into the tree and I said yes. Ash wanted to take me out on a date, so I accepted and now we're going to a restaurant. Not a very fancy one, but not a restaurant that sucks either.

After the talk Ash and I had, I went back home, only to have everyone waiting for me. They bombarded me with questions about Ash, to which I denied and said I didn't know what they were talking about. I was shocked to see Jay hold up the letter I didn't want to show him. Jay was smirking and said that he couldn't help himself. I tried going over to him, ready to kill him, but everyone held me back, so I gave in and told him everything.

I sighed and continued to look at myself in the mirror. I messed with my spiky hair a bit, even more nervous than before.

"Should I change my hair? Make it less spiky?" I asked myself, thinking really hard about this. I started to slowly pace back and forth in front of the mirror.

"Kai?" I turned around and seen my sister, Nya. "You're supposed to be getting ready for your date."

"I know, but I don't know what to wear. I don't know if supposed to be formal or not. Am I supposed to change my hair and stuff?" I kept pacing and thinking and as I was coming back, Nya stopped me and patted my shoulder.

"Don't think too much, Kai." Nya then walked over to my closet and started looking through my clothes. I watched her and kept thinking even though she told me not to.

"I just don't want to ruin the date, you know? I'll feel terrible." I said starting to pace again.

"I just told you not to think too much, Kai." Said Nya, looking back at me. "Come over here and I'll help you."

"Thanks sis! You're the best!" I said as I walked over to Nya and hugged her. Nya hugged back and patted me on the back.

"You're the best too, bro. Now let's get you ready." I nodded and smiled and starting getting ready with Nya's help.

(Time skip)

KAI P.O.V.~

I was standing in front of the restaurant that we set up our date in. I was wearing a plaid jacket with various shades of red over a white T-shirt along with blue skinny jeans and my red converse. I also kept my spiky hair because Nya said it was best.

The others even helped me as well and encouraged me, which I was happy about. I was glad that everybody helped me out and I promised them that I would tell them about the date in return.

I looked down and fiddled with my fingers, even more nervous than ever even though the others encouraged me. I didn't want Ash to think I was a bad date and regret asking me out. I thought for a bit until I heard someone walking and getting closer. I lift my head up and see Ash and he immediately made me blush.

Ash was wearing a black leather jacket over a plain gray shirt while wearing black skinny jeans and boots that went up to his ankles. Ash also didn't change his hair, which I liked.

Ask walked up to me and stopped. He had a look on his face that told me he felt bad for being late. I blushed a bit and gently smiled.

"It's alright that you're late. I wasn't waiting long at all." Ash then smiled softly, nodding as well. I looked up at Ash. "Sorry I don't look great either. These were the best clothes I had."
