JAY P.O.V.~
It was just a normal sunny day in Ninjago City. There were many people walking around on the streets, talking amongst one another. Those people were having a good time since they were with friends or family... or even both!
Then there was me. Trying to build an invention at my little trailer home that was located in a junkyard, and it had a big sign above it saying: "Ed and Edna's Scrap n' Junk."
"Come on..." I mumbled to myself. I was trying to build a little robot, but it wasn't working. I had to keep switching, moving, and locating parts and wires, the lost ones being a huge pain. It wasn't working and is was so... irritating.
"I give up!" I shouted and practically dropped the robot onto the desk in front of me after I stood up, which led to more parts falling off. I sighed and sat down again, so frustrated.
"I guess I'll just have to buy something for dad then..." my father, Ed, loved inventing and I thought if I created something, then it would be the perfect present for his birthday, but I guess I can't give him the perfect gift. At least my dad and mom were visiting friends for a couple days, so I would have time to think of something.
I stood up and walked to my room because I honestly couldn't look at the monstrosity of the robot I failed to make. I sat on my bed and laid down, looking out the window.
I've tried so hard to get better and improve, but it never worked. I've only been able to creat things because my dad was there to help me through everything. He would tell me all the steps and different ways to create something, so I've never really remembered. Looking it up online never helped either because I could never understand it from the directions being so complicated. It was practically worthless.
I mean, unless there is a way to just magically be good at something.
I sat up and looked online, and after a couple of hours of practically searching through every website, I saw a way... and it was a stupid way.
But I mean, I could try it and see how it turns out.
The way was to summon a demon. More of a Crossroad Demon to be exact. You had to be at a crossroad, but I knew where one was. I needed a few things though. I needed a picture of myself, graveyard dirt, and... a bone from a black cat... really?
'Oh well.' I thought as I shut my laptop off and set it down. I stood up and quickly got ready then went out to get what I needed.

It was growing dark now and I had everything I needed, as well as a box to put the items in. I first grabbed a little box and a picture of me and went to a graveyard and put some dirt in it. I made sure I didn't look suspicious. After that I walked to a store and bought a cat skeleton then went home.
Don't worry though... the skeleton was fake and I bought it from a cheap dollar store that still had a couple Halloween things hanging around for some reason. There was no way I was going to kill a cute cat or look for a dead one. I'm not sure if a fake one works or not, but I really didn't care. If it works, it works and if it doesn't, it doesn't.
I walked for a good hour before I made it to the crossroads that I knew. It was a place that was abandoned because there wasn't enough money to finish what was going to be here.
I took at deep breath and exhaled. I was now getting super nervous. I looked at the open box and put the picture of myself in it. I then closed it and went to the center of the crossroads, which is where you have to bury the box.
I kneeled down and dug a hole through the rocks and noticed that my hands were shaking. I also realized that I was holding my breath. I exhaled and looked at the box.
