Thanks For Keeping Me Warm (Kai x Lloyd)

Hey guys! I just wanted to let you know that Lloyd is a teen in this one. Enjoy the chapter!!

LLOYD P.O.V.~

"It's snowing pretty good out there." Said Zane, sitting down on the floor next to Jay and Cole. We were all in the game room, getting ready to play something after a long day of training. I was sitting next to Kai on the couch. Kai had his whole body on the couch but left more than enough room for me to sit. Kai was also playing on his phone. Probably playing a game or sending a chirp.

"Ya it is." Said Cole, looking at Zane. "I heard we were supposed to get about 10 inches of snow tonight."

"Really? Wow that's a lot of sn-" Zane started, but was cut of by Jay.

"You guys need to quit talking about boring weather and help me find a game!"

Cole looked at Jay, shook his head and smiled. "Alright motormouth!" Cole then put Jay in a headlock and started to mess up his hair.

"Dirt clod!" Shouted Jay. Zane smiled as he watch Jay and Cole. I also smiled and laughed a bit. I looked over at Kai to see him smiling. Kai noticed and looked at me, keeping his smile. I blushed and smiled back until Kai looked back at his phone.

I have to be honest. I really like Kai. A lot. Even though he can be short tempered and quick to go into things, he is kind and he really cares about everyone. I really like that about him.

I yawned. I was really tired. Kai noticed and went to sitting.

"Why don't you lay down Lloyd?" Kai smiled. I blushed.

"O-okay." I laid down. "T-thank you Kai."

"No problem Lloyd." Kai went back to phone and I went back to watching the others play a game. A few minutes passed. I was still tired, but not to tired enough to fall asleep yet. The others are still playing a game. I look over at Kai and see he's already fallen asleep sitting up, his hand in a fist, holding his face up. He looked so peaceful. I yawned again and closed my eyes and I was fast asleep in a matter of seconds.

(Time skip)

LLOYD P.O.V.~

I opened my eyes a little and seen that it was really dark, the only light coming from the TV. I sit up and seen Zane, Cole, and Jay sleeping on the floor. They had a big blanket over them and they were close to each other. I guess they were cold.

I started to shiver. It was really cold. It's part of why I woke up. I laid down again and tried to go to sleep again, but I couldn't. I tried moving around a bit, but still with no luck.

"Lloyd?" I heard someone say. I sit up and see Kai looking at me, a bit worried.

"I'm sorry Kai. I woke you up."

"It's alright." Kai smiled. "Is something wrong." I started shivering again.

"It's cold and I can't sleep." I replied.

"I see."

"Are you cold?" I asked.

"No."

"How are you not cold?" Kai laughed a little bit.

"I'm the master of fire remember. I don't usually get cold."

"Lucky." I was still shivering.

"You're the green ninja. You do have some of my element."

"I tried that already. I didn't work."

"Oh. Can I try something?"

"S-sure." I answered. I didn't know what Kai was going to do. I was still shivering and I just wanted to be warm.

Kai then hugged me and held me close. I blushed a bright shade of red. I looked up at Kai, still blushing, and seen him smiling. Kai looked at me and blushed just a tiny bit.

"Does this help?" Asked Kai. I now realized what Kai was trying to do. He was trying to warm me up by hugging me and using his power.

"Y-yes it does." I answered. "Very much." I snuggled into Kai more. 'So warm.' I thought.

"Lloyd?"

"Hmmm?" I looked up at Kai again. Kai took my face in his hands and looked at me. The way Kai looked at me with his amazing red eyes made me blush brighter than the brightest red in the world. I felt butterflies in my stomach and I couldn't take it anymore. I quickly wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him. Kai was surprised, but quickly kissed back, pulling me closer with one hand on my back and the other in my hair. We broke the kiss after we needed air and looked at each other again.

"You stole my kiss." Said Kai, smiling. "I was supposed to make the first move."

"Too bad." I smiled, the blush still there. Kai laughed, leaned closer to my face, and kissed me again. I kissed back. That night, I fell asleep warm and happy.
