Will You Go Out With Me? (Kai x Ash)

KAI P.O.V.~

I yawned while laying on the couch. We finally got back home to where it's peaceful after being on the island where the Tournament Of Elements was held. We also came back with Zane, which I'm happy about. All of us decided that we would hang out with him, one at a time and after, all of us hang out with him together. It wasn't my turn yet, but it would be on Saturday. Since it's not my turn, I decided to lay back and get comfortable.

I was watching a movie called, The Maze Runner. I though that it was a pretty good movie. As I was watching The Maze Runner, I heard the doorbell ring. I groaned and got up. I lazily walked over to the door and opened it to see the mailman.

"Hello." I said and smiled. The mailman smiled back at me and handed me about ten letters.

"Here's your mail. Have a nice day."

"Thanks. And same to you." I said, watching the mailman walk away for a second before I shut the door and walked into the kitchen to set the mail down on the table. As I looked through the mail, I seen a letter that was to me. I looked at it and couldn't believe who sent it to me.

Ash.

The master of smoke. One of the elemental masters who were in the Tournament Of Elements. I slowly opened it, a bit of blush showing on my cheeks, and read the letter.

Kai,
Hey. Do you remember me? If not, I'll remind you. I was one of the elemental masters that fought you in the Tournament Of Elements and you won. I am also known as the master of smoke.
Now that you remember me, I'll get strait to the point. I've had an attraction to you ever since I seen you at the Tournament. I don't know if you feel the same, but I have a question to ask. I'll ask you in the park that's in Ninjago City at 8:00 pm,
Ash

I was probably madly blushing by now. I never expected him to say that, especially since nobody said that to me. I just stood, shocked. I never knew what to think.

"Hey Kai. What are you reading?"

I freaked out and pulled the letter to my chest, so no one could read it. I looked over and see Jay looking at me with a questioning look. I realized that Jay was the one who asked the question.

"U-um n-nothing." I said said. "J-just another fan letter." I laughed, but it was a nervous one, and apparently Jay noticed.

"Then can I see it." Jay asked, smiling just a tiny bit.

"No! I mean yes! I-I mean n-not right now. I'll s-show it to you later." I then speed-walked to my room and shut the door. I sat down, leaned agains the door, as sighed.

'That was a close one.' I thought, while I looked at the letter again. It lead me to blush again because...

I actually liked him too.

(Time skip)

KAI P.O.V.~

I was ready to leave because I was going to meet Ash in the park. I was wearing my red sweatshirt with my blue skinny jeans and red converse. I decided to get ready early because it would take me a bit before I got to the park.

I walked out to the door and yawned. I was a bit tired, but it was only 7:30 so I shouldn't be. I questioned why he wanted to meet at 8:00, but I actually thought that it was a bit more romantic, so I didn't question it anymore after that. I was really happy, but I didn't show it so everyone else didn't get suspicious. I didn't want them to know yet, so I kept to myself.

When I got out of my thoughts, I opened the door and walked out. It was a little chilly, but not too bad. I was a bit nervous and I really wanted to know what he is going to ask me. I made myself calm down and kept walking.

(Time skip)

KAI P.O.V.~

I finally made it to the park at about 7:55. I was really nervous at this point, and to where I couldn't calm myself down, but I took a deep breath and walked into the park. When I did, I looked down and seen a paper heart. I picked it up and looked at it. It had something written on it, so I read it.

Kai,
Follow the hearts,
Ash

I looked up from the heart and noticed other hearts on the ground. I walked to the next heart and picked it up. I looked to see if it had something on it, but it didn't, so I went onto the next heart. I did the same with every heart until I didn't see them any more. I had picked up about 15 of them.

I looked up and seen a carving made into the tree in front of me. I walked up to the tree and read 6 words that made me blush.

Will you go out with me?

I kept staring at the words, kept reading them over and over again. I couldn't believe my eyes. I then feel arms wrap around my waist and a head lay on my shoulder. I turned my head slightly and seen none other than Ash.

"H-hi." I said.

Ash smiled and looked at the carving in the tree then back to me, asking what was my answer would be. I took a deep breath.

"Y-yes. I'll go out with you." I answered, hiding my face right after. I felt Ash take my hands away from my face and I seen him smile brighter.

I smiled back. I was now dating Ash and I was very happy.

Wow guys! This is the third chapter I published today on this book! I'm happy about this. I wanted to do this to make up for my lack of updates. I had a bit of a writer's block and I just started school a few weeks ago, so I'm pretty busy as well.

But I wanted to know if you guys want a part 2 to this one? Maybe to where they go on a date or something? I'd be happy to make a second part :) so please let me know.

If you are reading my other book, Love At First Sight, I was think of doing the same thing because I also feel bad for the lack of updates on that story too.

But anyways, I hope you enjoy this one requested by kittkatlove! I also hope that you enjoyed the other updates as well!
