Nightmare? Sleep With Me (Jay x Lloyd)

Hey guys! I just want to give you a heads up. Lloyd is not a teenager in this one, he is still a kid. So I hope you enjoy this chapter!!

LLOYD P.O.V.~

I don't want to fight you... Dad.

My eyes shot open and I was breathing heavily. I sat up and looked around. I was in my room. I grabbed a pillow and hugged it. In a matter of moments, tears wee steaming down my face and I got scared.

"Why did it have to be me?" I said to myself though my crying. "I don't want to face my father and I don't want to be the green ninja because of it."

After a few minutes, my crying dies down. I wiped the rest of my tears away with the back of my hand. My face was probably red, but I didn't really care. I set the pillow down and I got up. I decided to go to Jay. He really helps me with the nightmares.

I quietly leave my room and shut my door. I start to walk, every step I take making a creak. I thought it would wake everyone up, but I remembered that everyone was a heavy sleeper. I looked at ever door I passed until I finally made it to Jay's room. I grab the doorknob and slowly turn it, trying not to make a sound. Once I have it turned all the way, I slowly open the door to see Jay.

Jay looked so peaceful. He was facing the other way and had one foot that wasn't covered with the blanket. He also wasn't snoring and his breathing was steady. His curtain to the window next to his bed was open a bit, letting some light from the moon shine through onto him and some parts of the room. I almost didn't want to wake him.

I walked over to his bed and stood there for a few moments.

"J-Jay?" I finally whispered, making Jay stir a bit, but not wake him up. "Jay?" I whispered, louder. Jay opened his eyes and turned his head to where he could see me. Jay then sat up.

"Hey Lloyd." Said Jay, his voice a bit hoarse. "Did you have another nightmare?" I nodded.

"Y-ya I did."

"Come on." Jay smiled. I smiled, blushed, and got up onto the bed. Jay leaned over and grabbed a cup of water from the bedside table and held it out to me.

"Here Lloyd."

"Thank you." I took the cup of water from Jay and started drinking. The water was refreshing. After I was done drinking, I handed the cup back to Jay and he put it back on the bedside table.

"Was it the same nightmare?" Asked Jay, looking at me.

I looked down and nodded, trying to hold in my tears. "Ya." I started to cry, failing at holding in my tears. Jay then took me and held me, running his hand through my hair. I hugged back tightly and cried more. "I don't want to fight my father." I said in between sobs.

"I know you don't." Said Jay.

"Can you do something?" I finally asked after a few minutes, still crying a bit. Jay then stopped hugging me and took hold of my face.

"I'm sorry Lloyd. We can't. If the prophecy says that has to happen, then it has to." I looked down at my hands.

"I wish there was a way to stop it."

"Maybe there is and we just don't know it." I look up at Jay to see him smiling.

"Really!?" I now had some hope. There actually might be one.

Jay nodded. "Yes." I smiled and hugged Jay. Jay hugged back. After a few moments we stopped hugging and I yawned. Jay smiled and kissed my forehead.

"Let's go to bed." I blushed and nodded. I never expected Jay to do that. Jay and I laid down under the covers. I looked up at Jay.

"T-thank you Jay." I said. Jay smiled.

"No problem Lloyd." Jay replied. I snuggled into Jay's chest while Jay wrapped his arms around me and in a matter of minutes, we wee both fast asleep.

(Time skip)

LLOYD P.O.V.~

I opened my eyes as the sun shined on me. I sit up, yawn, and rub my eyes. I noticed that Jay wasn't in bed anymore. He probably woke up way before I did.

"Good morning Lloyd." I turn around and see Jay standing at the doorway with something in his hands and in his casual clothes.

"Hello." I said as I yawned again. Jay walked over and set whatever his hands were holding down. I looked at it. They were casual clothes for me.

"You need to get dressed Lloyd. You and I are going to head to the city to get some things." Jay said while smiling. "Do you want to put your clothes on now or after breakfast? Zane made pancakes."

"After breakfast!" I immediately answered. I think my eyes were sparkling.

Jay laughed. "Okay Lloyd." Jay then messed up my hair. I smiled. Jay sat down next to me on the bed.

"Lloyd?" Jay asked.

"Ya?"

"Since you're having nightmares, just come in my room before you go to bed and sleep in here. It might help."

"O-okay. Thank you Jay." I smiled and Jay smiled back in return. I then hugged Jay. Jay was surprised at first, but he happily hugged back. We stopped hugging after a few moments and Jay took hold of my face.

"No problem Lloyd." Jay then kissed my forehead while I blushed. "Why don't we get some breakfast now?" Jay asked after he kissed me.

"Ya!" I smiled. Jay and I got off the bed and I held his hand as we walked to the kitchen to get some breakfast.
