Chapter five

"Excuse me? Umm...Tom, who exactly do you know a vampire hunter?" Georgia didn't really say this that calmly. I think it was a mixture of shock and curiosity. Heck, lets throw in some confusion while we're at it.

"Well I-"

Before he could finish here comes Ali. "Whoa whoa whoa! You mean to say, that...that you knew a vampire hunter...AND DIDN'T TELL ME?!" leave it to her, to make it into something ridiculous.

"Why would I tell you? It's not like we're the best of friends or anything! I mean, you almost killed me five minutes ago!" And then leave it to Tom, to make it about Tom.

"GOD. That was like a million years ago. Forget about it already!" Ali waved her hand at the thought.

"Forget about it? FORGET ABOUT IT? How am I supposed to forget something that almost killed me? And that 'something' was you." Tom and Ali were all up in eachother's faces right now. And me and Georgia, well we were pretty much standing in the corner.

"Key word, almost. It's no big deal. It didn't happen, so just forget it." Ali was very confident about this. But then she muttered, "Like anyone would care if you were gone." Too bad that Tom heard.

"WHAT?! Of all the things you have ever said, this is the most horrible ridiculous, hurtful thing-" I was getting really pissed right now. I interrupted. "SHUT UP YOU TWO! No one cares about this! Just shut up! My life, and Conrad's life is at stake! And the two of you are arguing! BE QUIET!"

Wow. I've never raised my voice like that before. Just in my head. But something about the two of them fighting during all this is just so...annoying.

"Uh...I am really...uh...sorry Dana. That was really immature." Tom was still staring at me, and Ali was quiet for once.

"Yeah, I'm sorry too." Ali turned to Tom. "Now, what were you going to say before we started...uh...fighting?" Ali asked Tom.

"Well I was going to say that I didn't know a vampire hunter exactly, one of my arcade friends, knows a guy who knows a vampire hunter." I could see Ali fight to laugh at the thought of 'arcade friends'.

"This is great! Now we can stop Vincent!" Georgia was more than happy for Tom for actually helping for once.

"But," Tom began, "It might not be a real vampire hunter. It could be all a hoax."

"Maybe, but its the only hope we have. C'mon lets go find that friend of yours."

The arcade was all smelly and sticky. God, how can anyone stand it?

"Over here!" Tom lead us to the back, where there was a game called, HOME STYLE KILL. Well, that's such a creative name. I thought to myself.

"Hey Max." Tom went over to kid that looked like he highlighted his hair, and styled it. Max also had acne and stuck his lips out like he was a gangster. Majorly creepy.

Yo! What's up my brother?" Who talked like that?

Max went over and gave Tom a high five that was really energetic. It was more like a slap.

"Nothin' much. But hey I brought a few friends with me today, 'cause we need to ask a question." Tom too, was a little uncomfortable about how creepy Max was.

Max looked over to us. His eyes glazed over all three of us like he was buying a horse. Or a hooker. He wiggled his eyebrows at Ali and me. I guess he knew not to look at Georgia since Tom is here. His eyes fell to Ali and stopped right where the cut of her shirt was a bit...low.

"Hey...so what is your name?" He wiggled his eyebrows at Ali. I think the sad thing was, is that he thought he was cool and hunky, but he was just so CREEPY beyond all belief. I know this is weird, but I sort of wish that Vincent was here to smack this guy around a little.
