Chapter thirty two
Vincent's P.O.V.
Dana's two girlfriends looked like they might faint. They stepped forward. "Omigod..." Georgia said in a shiver.
Ali spoke so quietly and roughly, "Sabrina? You're here...and you look so...different." She managed to get out.
Sabrina smiled. "Hmm...thanks?"
The guy who was with Dana and her friends, stumbled forward. "Where have you been?"
She frowned, and I guessed that it wasn't a good place. "We can do that later. Right now," She turned her head to Lauren. "We have a bitch to kill."
Lauren growled at her. "Ha. Yeah right. You're a baby to the vampire world. I'm guessing you got turned...about a year ago? You can't fight me." She laughed.
Sabrina started walking towards her, a bold move. "Oh, no?" She was right in front of Lauren, and grabbed hold of her hand and flipped her onto her back on the ground. Lauren grabbed Sabrina's hair, and pulled until her head whipped back and knocked onto the concreate.
Sabrina winced, but wasn't done. She took Lauren's hands and twisted by the wrist until I heard a snap.
"AHH!" Lauren howled with pain. Sabrina had broken her wrists.
Sabrina then took the stake out of Lauren's hand and was a second away from jamming it into her heart.
But Lauren swung back her legs and knocked the stake out of her hands.
I figured it was about time I did something. I flew over to where the stake had landed, and picked it up, But Lauren had gotten free and using only her feet kicked me in the face and knocked me to the floor.
I saw Alec using only his hands break the chair free of the wires, and slip out. He stealthy moved towards me, and helped me up.
I grabbed the wires that were hanging on the chair before Lauren could, and flew over to where she and Sabrina were fighting.
"Get her down!" I yelled to Sabrina, who nodded and stepped on Lauren's foot with the heel of her boot. Sabrina pressed down hard enough, and then kicked Lauren's knees.
Lauren went fell down, and that was all we needed. Sabrina held her down by her wrists until she couldn't move, Alec held her feet.
I tied up Lauren's hands and feet, until she couldn't move at all.
Alec grabbed the stake.
Lauren's eyes grew wide, and she shouted, "WAIT!"
Alec stopped.
Sabrina's eyes flashed to the stake and snarled at Alec. "Do it!"
Lauren panted, "Wait. I need to ask him something before you kill me."
Alec looked at me, and I nodded. "Go ahead." I said to her.
She stared up at Alec. "Why did you fall out of love with me while I turned?"
Alec sat there and thought for a minute. He thought of just saying "I don't know" but then he figured she deserved the real answer.
He sighed, and set aside the stake. "Lauren, I loved you. But I was afraid of spending my whole life with you. I guess you could say that I was nervous about commitment." He chuckled darkly. "So I thought that I did something while you were turning, we wouldn't love each other THAT MUCH, that things could be more normal and not so heavy." He sighed deeply.
Lauren furrowed her eyebrows. "What was the something that you did?"
Alec stared down and whispered. "I gave you some of my blood, and someone else's."
