Epilogue
Vincent's P.O.V.
"Flight thirty seven please board." The robotic female voice said over the intercom.
Tessa jumped up, and pulled both me and Sabrina up. "Come on! I wanna beat the line!"
She left us with the bags and quickly, maybe a bit TOO quickly for human eyes, ran up to the check-in line.
Sabrina rolled her eyes at one of her closest friends. It didn't take long for her and Tessa to totally jump into being best friends. It was amusing to watch.
I took her hand and we walked up to where Tessa was holding our spots. "This is going to be a big trip you know." She smiled.
I laughed. "I know. I don't think I'll be able to handle her." I gestured to Tessa who was arguing with some people who wanted to get in line.
Sabrina laughed with me. "I'll keep her in check. I'm the responsible one, remember?"
I rolled my eyes. "Yeah yeah."
As soon as they checked our passports, and we were boarded our plane, Tessa was practically jumping up and down.
"I can't believe we get to go to Mexico!" She said a bit too loudly.
I stared at her. "Haven't you already been?"
She shook her head. "Nope. I always just went to Europe, I always considered that going around the world really meant going to the other SIDE of the world. I forgot about Mexico and South America..." She admitted.
I laughed at her. "That's hilarious!"
Sabrina put her finger to her lips to quiet us down. "God you guys. We're only going to be there for a day or so. It's just a stop along the way to Brazil. Don't get so excited." She rolled her eyes at both of us.
"I wasn't getting excited..." I muttered. Tessa shot me a look and hit me on the arm.
"Stop it both of you!" Sabrina said exasperated.
"Fine. We'll talk about something else." Tessa thought for a moment, and then her face lit up. "I've always wondered something about you guys." She leaned over to look at me. "What made you give up on Dana so quickly and just move on to this wonderful girl here?" She smiled.
Tessa really doesn't think before she acts.
I flinched, and Sabrina closed her eyes to gain control of her anger on the subject. She never liked to talk about these things, and I hope you see why.
"Well...uh..." I stuttered. I didn't really know why either. It all seemed a bit unnatural, considering I loved Dana so much, I was going to turn her. I didn't understand why I loved Sabrina so much more on the spot. I just didn't really think about it.
Sabrina sighed. "I don't know, Tessa. Just ever since we first saw each other..." Her voice trailed off and she looked at me and smiled.
Tessa rolled her eyes at us. "I KNOW. I'm just saying isn't it a little weird? It's almost like Vincent turned you or something..." Her face lit up. "That's it, isn't it? You turned her! Ha! I'm so smart!" She started jumping up and down.
I smacked her in the arm, but she didn't really notice she was in her own little world. "Of course not! God, Tessa." I rolled my eyes at her stupidity.
She frowned. "So that's not it?"
Sabrina sighed. "No. He didn't turn me."
Tessa slumped against the window. "Fine. But I'm just saying, you guys should probably figure it out. It's too strange..."
Sabrina and I looked at each other, and we smiled. "I don't really care how it happened. Just, that it happened." I squeezed her hand.
We settled back into our chairs and the pilot came on the intercom. "Settle back folks, because in six hours we'll be landing in Mexico City."
