Ch. 9

This was the first signing me and the boys were doing back in America. It actually felt pretty good to be back in New York City, 1. because I might get to see Olivia again, and 2. We all genuinely love the city. It’s unreal how we’re playing Madison Square Garden in 2 days, on December 13.

“Alright boys, there’s about probably 1,500+ fans out there. We have from now until 7 to get them done. We’ll try to go quickly-”

Zayn cut him off. “Until Niall sees Olivia.”

I smiled. “Please Paul?” I begged.

“Fine. But If you need more time to catch up, go tell her to wait outside for you?”

For about a half an hour before we started the signing, we just goofed off backstage.

“I have this feeling she’s not gonna show,” I confessed.

“Niall, she probably would. She loves you. So she’ll come. Be Patient!”

Liam always seemed to calm me down when I got nervous.

“Boys! You ready?” Zayn held my hand as we made our way through the screaming fans. Ugh. Tight spaces, too much people. After we thanked the fans for coming, I started to scan the front of the crowd on the first level of the building. The fans took up 4 stories so far. Olivia, please be here. I need you. So far, I couldn’t see her. Keep positive, Niall, she may be here like Liam said.

We sit down and go through fans. We got a lot of cool toys , scrapbooks, NYC souvenirs , silly string, cards. They were pretty cool. But she didn’t show up. Please, come.

Olivia’s POV

Gee thanks Mom, for getting lost even though we’ve been to NYC about a gazillion times.. I was all the way at the back of the line, but at least I’m here. I’m still super happy she got the wristband for me. It means a lot, so I could just see him again. What if they don’t have time to see me? Ugh. Why did I always tend to think negatively about situations like this. I need Niall. My heart was pounding, hands shaking. I was so psyched to be here but so scared. I needed to know if he really loves me though, if he remembered me, and didn’t want to let me go. I needed closure on it. Please. Have time. In a little while, I started to talk to these really nice girls named Jess and Bailey in front of us, which helped the time go by quicker. In about 3 hours or so, we were near the front of the line. The boys were very polite to all of their fans, which was really sweet. My stomach tied in a knot as soon as I saw Niall. This is it. I took a deep breath and waited for about 30 minutes until I was in the front of the line. He looked right at me. My stomach filled with butterflies. Let’s see where this goes.. I think to myself.
