Seen and Felt (Imayoshi Shoichi)

You were currently the assistant manager of Momoi in the basketball team and you are looking for Imayoshi Shoichi, the captain of the team. After hearing the news he was going to retire as captain, you felt troubled about it.

You scanned the library to find a certain black headed, senior with eyeglasses, hoping he was there. Fortunately, you did. You entered the library and approached Imayoshi, who was sitting near the window."Imayoshi-senpai!" You called. No response. He was busy sketching a random drawing of his own.

"Imayoshi-senpai?" you called again, yet no response.

"IMAYOSHI SHOICHI!" this time you yelled and posed like a model to the nearest wall.

Imayoshi finally responded to you, "Huh? Oh, sorry [Name].....chan?" he looked up. And once he did, his face showed a pokerface and adjusted his glasses up, "What are you doing?" he stared at you curiously,

"Well, you don't respond!" You said, bolting up right, "I was calling you for the last 2 minutes."

"Ah. Sorry, sorry." he said, "Well, is there something wrong?"

"About the team," you started, "A-Are you sure you're really going to retire?"

"You sounded troubled, [Name]." Imayoshi replied, looking back down to his so called drawing and continuing it, "Yes, I'm precisely decided about my carrier. I'm going to graduate soon anyway." he said and pushed his glasses up.

You sighed in reply, "Don't worry, Wakamatsu's reliable." Imayoshi said, and smiled to you. You tried smiling but it didn't reflect your eyes. He stared at you curiously, "You really looked worried, [Name]. What's wrong?" He asked, adjusting his glasses.

"I-It's nothing, Imayoshi-senpai." you said, "I-I'll see you around."

Just as before you leave, a hand yanked your wrist, "Meet me at the gym later, I'll be waiting." Imayoshi said, smiling at you.

"What for?" you blinked, 'His smile... its best thing ever. Add the squiniting eyes, I would die sooner or later, he's... too cute?' you thought as you stared back at Imayoshi.

"I'll tell you there." Imayoshi said, releasing your wrist and continued sketching.

You looked at his drawing just as before you leave, you snorted a laugh, "You're really bad at drawing, Imayoshi-senpai." you teased, he just smiled.

You left the library and glanced back at Imayoshi and wondered, he probably would still force you to tell the reason why you are bothered about him passing the captaincy position. To be honest, you are bothered not because of the team, but you will miss him once he leave. Why are you even feeling this way?

After school, you went to the gym to meet Imayoshi. Surprisingly, he was there, waiting for you. "So you did come, [Name]-chan." Imayoshi said,

You sighed, glaring at him, "That's because you told me so." you said, "So, what is it that you want?"

"Come," he said, grabbing your hand, "It's a date, [Name]." you and Imayoshi started walking outside the school grounds.

"What the-" Imayoshi suddenly placed a finger on your lips to stop you from uttering a curse. "Don't continue it, [Name]." he even smiled.

"Well, I'm guessing this is better." you said.

"What do you mean?" he asked,

"Well..." you started, "Ugh, how do I start this..." you muttered,

"Oh, is that the reason why you're bothered about me leaving?" he asked,

"Tha-That's not it!!" you blushed, "Are you trying to tease me, Imayoshi!?"

"No, I'm serious." he said, straight forwardly while he stared at you, "I don't want to see you worried."

"Why?"

"Hey, you haven't answered my question yet," Imayoshi said, "Don't jump on a different topic. But, I promise to answer your question after you answer my question." he added before you react violently, "Now, what do you mean its better for us to spend this day alone... together?"

"Well..." you started, "That's because..." you muttered and let out a sigh escape your lips, "I'll miss you." you mumbled. Sure enough, Imayoshi heard what you said. He suddenly paused for a moment of realisation. You cleared you throat, "Anyway, I'm done answering you question. Now, my question; why don't you want to see me worried?"

Imayoshi didn't speak for the last 2 minutes. The words you spoke to him was still synching in his mind, "[Name]," he finally spoke, "What do you feel about me?"

"Imayoshi-senpai!" you shouted, "You're so unfair!"

"Are you really sure you want to know why I don't want you looking so worried?" Imayoshi asked seriously,

"Yes, I am!" you said.

Imayoshi turned to face you and held your chin, he suddenly leaned forward on your ear, "I don't want to see the person that I love looking worried." he said and then quickly pulled away.

Yes, you and Imayoshi had mutual feelings for each other. But it is just not obvious. Imayoshi felt your feelings towards him, but this doesn't reflect the way you see him, and you never saw his feelings for you. You respect Imayoshi as your senpai and as the captain and you think that his feelings for you won't even return, but you got it all wrong. None of you won't make your first move since you are focused on your studies and Imayoshi is focused on his basketball carrier.

You blushed with these words Imayoshi said, "Do you even know what you're talking about, Imayoshi-senpai?" you asked,

"I'm saying that I love you, [Name]." Imayoshi said,

"Do I still have to answer your question about my feelings for you?" you asked and he nodded, "It's simple as this."

You pulled his face and kissed his cheek. You can see Imayoshi's face flushed, blushing lightly to your sudden action. "I love you too, Imayoshi. That is why, thinking about you leaving the team and myself bothers me... I don't know how to handle it and most importantly I don't want to forget about you." you explained.

"We'll both maintain it," Imayoshi spoke up, "If we trust and help each other. Whereas, there will be no hassles. You are mine, I am yours and no one else. Just the two of us... plus our future kids once we get married in the near future." Imayoshi said. You can see a pink tinge of blush spreading along his face as he utter those words. Even you also blushed, how sweet is he. You never expected that he would say those kind of things.

"Where did that came from?" you smirked at him, "Okay." you replied, "We will help each other, so our relationship will work out, Imayoshi."

"Thank you, [Name]." Imayoshi said, "Don't worry too much about us in the moment, okay? We'll soon recover, maybe after you graduate." he grinned jokingly.

You sighed, "Don't remind me, you're leaving. It only breaks me apart... even though we promised."

"It's only a short period of time, [Name]." Imayoshi said, hugging you. "Don't worry too much. We'll be reunited again." you returned his hug back.
