It's been almost a year and a half since you had a crush on the tsundere long range shooter, Midorima Shintaro. It's not just any ordinary crush that you are feeling, it is love that you are feeling. However, Midorima ignores your feelings and only sees you as a friend after he knew the spreading rumour about you having a crush on him. While on the other hand, there is Takao, your guy best friend who is friends with Midorima. Unfortunately for Takao, he caught himself falling inlove with you, but he knows that you still have feelings for Midorima.

Flashback
You and Midorima attended Teiko Middle school, you used to be close friends. Buy you two aren't in the same class. Until one day, he just suddenly stopped talking to you and the bond and closeness between the two of you just disappeared like bubble. "Shintaro!" You called cheerfully.

"[Last Name]..." Midorima replied awkwardly. You paused for a moment there, this isn't the usual him.

"A-Are you alright? You sounded sick." You tried to touch his forehead, but he swatted it away, because he knew that you cared about him and that concern coming from you bothers him, he wasn't used to this kind of thing called love. In fact, Midorima doesn't want to fall in love.

"[Last Name], just stop caring about me." Midorima's face heated up, "I-I have class. Y-You should also go to your class." He added and left. After that day, you never talked to him and he started to distance himself away from you.

After graduation, you transferred at Shutoku. Which is coincidentally Midorima's school as well. And surprisingly, you two are in finally the same class. Midorima's eyes widened as he recognised a certain [h/c] headed girl in [hairstyle], which is your signature style and decided to lower his head a little so you won't see. As you turned around to check the class, there you saw a certain green headed guy. "Shintaro?" You tilted your head.

"Damn it, why is she here!?" Midorima muttered,

"Shintaro!" You called. Midorima stood up, annoyed and toom you outside the classroom.

"What are you doing here?" He asked,

"I passed my exam in Shutoku." You said, "Remember, we took an exam here together and--"

"Stop, [Last Name]." Midorima cut your sentences,

You frowned upon hearing him not calling you by name, "It's [Name], remember?" You said, "what has gotten in to you?"

"It's complicated, [N-Name]..." Midorima said, "Stay away from me. Because I can't love you back the same you love me." He finally said and left you hanging.

Takao continued to annoy you about your flashback with Midorima. "Kazunari, one more Midorima flashback, I'll punch you." You said jokingly and took a sip from your bubble tea treated by Takao. You and Takao stopped over a café every after school. Sometimes to study and most of the time, just to hang out.

Takao continued to laugh, "Alright, alright." He said, "I'm done telling your story."

You are decided to move on from the heartaches Midorima gave you for the past year and a half. However you just can't. Because still seeing him at school doesn't really help you at all. Takao took you out on a friendly date after school and opened up a topic about Midorima, when you suddenly asked how he's doing. "Shin-chan doesn't like the rickshaw since you're here." Takao said, "Sorry I can't help."

"That's alright, he's a meanie anyway." You said,

"Whoa, what happen to the 'Shintaro don't go' line?" Takao said, trying to copy your voice,

"Let's admit it, I still like him and I'm still trying hard to find ways to bring at least our friendship together but it's just no use." You explained,

Takao tapped your shoulder, "Then try finding someone better than him." He adviced,

"How?"

"Listen [Nickname], there are a lot of better guys in the world. You can choose anyone." He said,

"I'll try." You said. Takao rode the bicycle in the rickshaw, "Get off. I'm riding that."

"What?"

"You heard me, I am riding that. You're at the back." You said,

"Okay..." Takao went off the bike and sat on the cart.

"Thanks for today's treat, Kazunari." You smiled, "Moreover, thanks for being always there." You said and finally pedaling.

"Y-You're always welcome, [Name]." Takao smiled back. However his smile suddenly faded away as you started pedaling, 'Honestly [Name], I love you and I don't want to see you suffer from a guy who doesn't even appreciate your feelings. So please, notice mine. It's okay if you still like him, but I am willing to wait for you until you finally learnt to love me back.' Takao thought.

After a few minutes of pedaling to your house, it's Takao's turn to go home by himself. "Thanks for the ride, Kazunari. I'll see you tomorrow." You said. But as before you leave, "[Name]," Takao grabbed your hand,

"Kazunari-kun?"

Takao suddenly kissed you on the cheek and smiled. He left without saying a word. Your cheeks started to heat up and ran out of words to say. You went upstairs to your room and randomly screamed on a pillow. You didn't know what to do. It only meant one thing to you, Takao likes you all along. There is a SOMEONE for you but you just doesn't want to let go of Midorima. Your heartbeat raced like never before, you can't explain what you're feeling right now. It's either you have to let go of Midorima completely and let Takao in to your life and move on.

And that night, you made a choice. "If I just try... I will stop chasing him..." You said to yourself, "but seriously, I'm confused... It would be unfair. I don't want him to think that he's only an option unless I prove him that I really have moved on from the scars of the past..."
