Your Basketball (Kiyoshi Teppei)

It was lunch time and you have a habit of watching some people in the outdoor courts playing basketball. "[Name]?" someone called, it was your friend from a different form class, she suddenly pouted and snapped a finger infront of you, "Ah, sorry [Friend's Name]." you said, scratching your head feeling a little dumbstruck. "What is it?" you asked, you looked at your friend but she turned her head to the outdoor courts.

"Who are you looking at?" she asked,

"It's probably that guy over there." you pointed,

"Ah, that's Kiyoshi-senpai." she said and suddenly smirked, "You like him do you?"

"N-No, its just that I-I'm observing those people play basketball, tha-that's all." you stuttered, "N-No big d-deal."

Your friend shrugged her shoulders, "Okay. But if you ever do like Kiyoshi-senpai, don't hesitate to tell me. I'll make a way for you." she winked,

"Piss off, I said I don't like him. End of story." you said, half heartedly. But the truth is, a small attraction towards Kiyoshi is dwelling up inside you. It's just an attraction, nothing really too complex about it. So you set the issue aside.

But over the past few days, you noticed that Kiyoshi always walks past to the spot where you always seat at recess and lunch. And he always say hi to you, randomly. Maybe he wants to be friends? Why not. In fact, your feelings for Kiyoshi is not really that extremely showing. It's just a light and simple attraction. Not crush, but attraction.

Later that day, Kiyoshi was standing on your usual spot at lunch and recess, yet none of your friends were there yet. "Uh, hi?" you greeted,

"Ah, [Last Name]-chan hello." Kiyoshi grinned,

"[Last Name]? H-How did you know me?" You asked curiously,

"I'm Kiyoshi Teppei by the way," he replied, offering a hand of friendship to you, "Friends?"

You giggled, "Yeah, I know you Kiyoshi-senpai." you accepted him hand, "Friends, why not." you smiled,

"Say, do you want to have lunch together?" he asked. You flinched a bit and blushed. This, coming from your light crush? Okay, admit it you have a crush on Kiyoshi.

"Well," you glanced everywhere to see your friends but none of them has arrived yet. You sighed, "Okay." you agreed, Kiyoshi grabbed your hand and pulled you to the outdoor courts. While you were eating lunch, Kiyoshi suddenly brought up a lot of conversation topics, like he wanted to get to know you, he even invited you to play basketball with him. "Eh, basketball?" you blinked, "But, I-I don't know h-how to play-"

"Then I'll teach you." He insisted, with a grin on his face.

"Y-You sure?"

"Of course, I'm sure [Last Name]-chan." Kiyoshi said, "You're my friend."

You and Kiyoshi stepped to the courts and he thought you how to play basketball. Everytime you hands touch, because he was teaching you how to shoot you were slightly blushing. In the end, you learnt a lot of things from him, within that 30 minutes of lunch time. "Thanks again, Kiyoshi-senpai." you said, picking your bag "I really learnt a lot from you, not just in basketball but in general things as well." you said with a smile on your face.

"I'm glad you appreciated our mini bonding [Last Name]-chan." Kiyoshi said, walking towards you ads he picked his bag, "I hope this isn't the first and last time we had this." he suddenly pulled you into a hug, "Thanks-"

"[Name]. Just call me [Name]." you said, returning his hug back.

"Alright, then call me Teppei." Kiyoshi said, pulling away and winked at you. "Come on, I'll bring you to your next class, [Name]-Kouhai." While you exit the outdoor courts, he held your hand like you were his.
