Little other things (Kuroko's basketball player x Reader)

Catch me (Kuroko Tetsuya)

You and Kuroko met each other in Teiko Middle. You caught his eye and most probably even his heart. But the thing is, you barely hang out with the GoM circle of friends, since you are shy and Momoi is there.

You had a good close relationship with the GoM and got along with them, especially Momoi. You became a bridge for Momoi on how she met Kuroko was because of you, she and Kuroko met and developed a close relationship between each other which you fully regret, but you set that aside and erased all your secret feelings towards Kuroko.

But, when you denied and kept your feelings towards Kuroko yourself, you were played and fooled by guys in you class. You've been always broken your whole life and everything was a mess back then.

Highschool....

You went to Seirin high and applied as Seirin Basketball Manager. When you were in the court checking the Seirin basketball team, your eyes widened as you saw your middle school crush, Kuroko Tetsuya, enlisted himself to the basketball club and is your classmate too. What a coincidence.

"Something wrong, [Last Name]-chan?" Riko asked,

"Ah... nothing really." you muttered,

"You looked quite surprise," Riko added,

"Um, coach," you called, "have you met or seen Kuroko Tetsuya?" you couldn't help yourself to ask,

"Kuroko Tetsuya? A freshmen?" Riko blinked and scanned the gym, "Hm, I don't see him anywhere. He must be late or decided not to come." Riko said,

"Excuse me," a familiar voice said infront of Riko,

'As expected.' you thought,

"I'm here." A sky blue haired freshman said, it was Kuroko.

"HUH!?!!?? WHERE DID YOU CAME FROM!?!?!?!?" The Seirin members asked curiously and began to panic.

"I was here the whole time," Kuroko said. The team was dumbfounded while you smiled cheerfully,

"Glad to see again, Kuroko-kun." you greeted. Kuroko smiled back.

"Yo-You guys know each other!?" Riko asked,

"Yeah," Kuroko replied, "We went to the same school when we were in middle school." He explained and looked at you, smiling in relief. You smiled back.

The practice went on and Kuroko showed his misdirection talents and quickly the Seirin had an advantage for winning every single basketball match. After the practice, "Um, [Last Name]-chan?" Kuroko approached you,

"Ku-Kuroko-kun!" you stammered, "Hi, good to see you again. Do you need anything?" you asked,

"Since when were you interested in basketball?" he asked,

"Since we were in middle school," you replied, "I just didn't show it because, you know I'm not really that showy." you added, scratching you head,

"I see," Kuroko said, "Want to go for milkshakes?" he asked,

"Sure." you said.

Maji Burger...

"Here [Last Name]-chan," Kuroko said, handing a [Favourite Milkshake Flavour] to you.

"You didn't have to do spend money for me, Kuroko-kun." You said, "But thanks though." you shyly took your milkshake.

"It's okay, [Last Name]-chan." Kuroko replied, "Besides, I want to talk to you about something."

"Didn't I tell you to call me [Name]?" You teased, "Alright, what's it about?"

"I'm sorry, [Name]-chan." Kuroko said, "When we were in middle school, why didn't you join our circle of friends or at least become Momoi's assistant?"

"Huh?" You blinked, you smiled slightly and felt your cheeks heat up, "Hey, I do join your circle of friends... sometimes. And, I don't like basketball that much when we were in Middle-School."

"Really, [Name]-chan?" Kuroko questioned,

"And coincidentally you went to the same school as me, Seirin High." you said, "So pretty much I had an oppurtunity to join the basketball team here and be the manager."

There was a sudden pause between you and Kuroko. Awkward silence. None of you would talk after the explanation you spat out. You finished your milkshake, but Kuroko still haven't finished his. "You're a slow eater, Kuroko-kun." you teased,

"Where did that came from, [Name]-chan?" Kuroko asked,

"Uh, none of us will talk so I broke the silence." you murmured.

Another awkward silence. You sighed heavily and got up, "I guess I'll see you--"

"When will you ever notice me, [Name]-chan?" Kuroko suddenly asked,

"N-Now where did that question came from?" You asked, staring at him blankly, while blushing. You were surprised with a sudden out of question topic of Kuroko. You engaged to pop a vein, 'Sometimes, he's so full of surprises which is probably why I like him.' you thought.

"Please sit back down, [Name]-chan." Kuroko said. You did what he said.

"When?" Kuroko asked, you looked away, avoiding his glances.

"Kuroko-kun, I always notice you. It's just me whom you don't notice." You said and looked back to him, but he's gone. 'He wasn't listening. He left me hanging here.' you sighed.

"Catch me, [Name]-chan!" Kuroko said, who suddenly appeared beside you. His head fell on your shoulder, you smiled slightly,

"I'm always here to catch you, Kuroko-kun." you ruffled his sky blue hair, "Catch me, Kuroko-kun... I've fallen for you." you whispered,

"I'm waiting, [Name]-chan." Kuroko heard what you said, "I promise, you won't shatter into pieces like what others did to you." He suddenly entwined his hand to yours which made you blush madly. "I love you, [Name]." he whispered,

You smiled, "I love you too, Tetsuya."
