You and Kagami saw each other a few years ago... let's say, 9 years ago.
It was Christmas eve and that was just the time when he suddenly passed by an amusement park due to his curiosity. While young Kagami was in the amusement park, a lost girl caught his eye. A girl who was dressed in black with a white messy hair, so he decided to follow the girl. The girl, then entered a horror house, but why would she enter a horror house in her cosplay? Young Kagami followed the girl.
The girl, who was smart enough to notice that someone was following her, hid between a narrow space to scare the anonymous kid who was follow her. Once, he passed by the narrow space, "BOO!!" you scared him,
"Aaaaahhh!" Young Kagami shrieked, "A cockroach kid!!"
"Cockroach kid? What are you talking about?" you asked furiously, "I am not a cockroach. I am a ghost!" you explained,
"Oh, but you don't look like one. You look more of a abandoned ghost girl seeking for revenge." He teased, "Anyway, why are you in this horror house?"
"I am a staff," you smiled cheerfully, "I scare people."
Young Kagami snorted, "You don't look scary." he murmured,
"Excuse me!?" you protested, your hands on your hips,
"Nothing," Young Kagami said. He observed the horror house and felt like wanted to go in there, "I'm sorry cockroach kid. Here, for you to forgive me, I'll go inside that horror house."
Your eyes widened, "Really!? Okay, I forgive you." you smiled, "Because of that, I'll let you enter this once for free!" you said enthusiastically as you grabbed his hand. "Come on, split brows."
"Split brows!?" He asked, "I do have a name, cockroach kid."
"Well, I also have a name, split brows." you said jokingly as you raised an eyebrow to him.
You and the red headed kiddo went inside the horror house. When it was almost near to the finish line, he pulled your hand, "Wait." he said,
"What's wrong split brows?" You asked, glancing to him,
"I don't want to leave yet." Young Kagami said, his face dropped and eventually had drawn a sad face.
'He must be facing some kind of problem.' you thought. Suddenly a light bulb idea snapped your mind, "Do you want to disappear with me?" you asked cheerfully.
Yound Kagami looked at you curiously, "Disappear?" he asked, "That's something new. Sure." He said.
You grabbed his hand and brought him outside of the horror house. You brought him into a different world, a magical colourful place, "Now what is this place?" Young Kagami scoffed,
"This is a magical place, since I saw you looking sad, Split-brows." you said. Infront you and young Kagami is big black chest. "Are you ready to disappear with me?" you asked, he nodded.
You opened the the black chest, grabbed the red headed kiddo's hand and went inside the black chest. Sure enough, you and the red headed kid had managed to fit inside the black chest. There was awkward silence, "Are you sure were disappearing?" he said as he broke the silence, "It seems like were not. Were just inside an empty black chest." he added.
"We are," you said, "Why were you looking sad a while ago?" you asked,
"I'm facing a problem," He replied, "my parents are always arguing, it's Christmas eve."
You just stared at him and studied his face, "Hey Split-Brows," you called, "do you believe in magic?" you asked,
"Magic?" he questioned, "Maybe."
"If you're given a wish, what would it be?"
"I wish-"
"Close your eyes!" you said. Young Kagami glared at you and felt like wanting to complain but did it anyway,
"I wish that my parents would have a better relationship that would not affect my family." he wished and opened his eyes. You sprinkled glitters on him so that his wish would come true.
"There," you said, "Believe that your wish will come true tonight and I'll give you this in remembrance of me, the cockroach kid." you winked, giving him a small jar of glitters.
"Here, in remembrance of me too." he gave you a plain chain of necklace in remembrance of him. You wore this around your neck, "Since you're the only friend I've met... strangely."
Moments later, you and Split-Brows went out of the black chest and soon he left the amusement park. It suddenly hit you that you didn't catch his name neither did he. You and him just missed the oppurtunity to know your original names.

PRESENT TIME:You are transferred to Seirin High. You're parents' number one rule; no boyfriends. Unless it is your childhood sweetheart - The red headed kiddo you met 9 years ago.Your dad still bets on that kid and it is impossible for you to find out who it was. Your dad thinks that your childhood sweetheart is hard to find, which means that it will take a long time.
You entered the gates of Seirin High, pressure and tensions are starting to attack you. When you've reached the classroom, you are seated next to Kagami Taiga, a red-headed guy with his eyebrows split. 'Split-brows...? My childhood sweetheart?' you wondered and rubbed your eyes just to be sure. You are very sure that it was him, he's the only person you know with eyebrows split, "So Kagami was his name, huh?" you smirked, "I think its about time for you to know me.
At recess, you are still not talking to the Kagami. Well, you can clearly remember him but he cannot even recognise who you are because you are dressed in a scary costume.
Meanwhile, Kagami who was facing another personal problem, held the small jar of glitter you gave him when you were little 9 years ago. "I wonder how this cockroach kid is going? And where is she now?" Kagami wondered, "I kind of miss this kid, I want to see what she really looks like."
