The best of me (Aomine Daiki)

Early in the morning,  you saw a certain tall, dark and dark blue headed person and automatically you knew who it was. He was the Touou Academy Basketball Clubs' Ace and power forward, Aomine Daiki, your boyfriend, lazily walking to the school with a basketball. He was wondering everywhere, almost close to ignorning you but you just followed him all the way to the school basketball courts. "Good morning," you yawned,

"Morning, baby." Aomine replied, placing an arm on your shoulders. "Were you right behind me all the time?" He asked and you responded with a nod. Aomine suddenly gave you a kiss on the cheek. "I'm too lazy to go to practice this morning-"

"You always skip practices. Your captain is always looking for you." You said,

"Who cares? As long as I'm with you, I'll be all good." Aomine said,

"Shut up." You said, "You know what, I sometimes don't get you. You dislike going to practices but would always prefer practicing with me. Aho, I am not a basketball player. I was only influenced by you and taught by you." You explained,

"Yeah, but you inspire me." Aomine said,

"More like you inspire yourself," You replied and sighed, "and as your senpai, you should follow me."

Yes, you are a year older than Aomine and you are the assistant manager of Touou Academy Basketball club. You never really had an interest in any sport until Aomine came to your life. There are times that you and Aomine just couldn't get along and you have to convince him to practice with the team, orders from the scary captain, which is your classmate, of course (This is Aomine as a second year). Most of the time, whenever you give him orders, he would always tend to fail it especially when it's all about basketball. Once you reached the courts, there was no one in there at the moment.

"Alright, you go play basketball. I'm just here in the corner studying." You said as you dropped your bag with Aomine's bag. While you were sitting there, Aomine is just crossing over and dunking at the ring. Moments later he paused and stared at you.

"[Name]." Aomine called,

"Mm?" You responded as you played with your pen,

"Join me. 1 v 1." He said,

"You idiot, you know I'm not good at basketball," you said, "And I'm not ready to have a one-on-one with you."

"Come on, it's no big deal." Aomine said,

You poked your tongue at him and sighed, "Fine. Go easy on me, Ahomine. If I lose, I don't give a damn about it yet but if you make a fuss about it, I won't talk to you for a day." You said as you finally got up from where you were sitting. 

"Here, [Name]," Aomine passed you the ball, "You're starting." You just ignored him and rolled your eyes . You made yourself a drive, passing through Aomine and finally shooting. Surprisingly, it went it. 

Aomine's eyes widened in amazement, "How long haven't you played basketball now?" he asked, giving you a light hug after having the ball back, 

"That was just fate giving me an easy go," You said, he passed you the ball again. While you were dribbling, "Hey, I thought this was suppose to be a one-on-one?" you raised a brow. Aomine didn't say a word, but he just suddenly hugged you, "I missed playing basketball with you, [Name]." he said, "When you were gone, basketball was boring. Those kouhai of mine who wanted to play basketball with me aren't really good enough and of course, I always beat them. I find basketball more fun playing it with you better." Aomine said, 

"Really now?" you smirked. Being two weeks away from school because you were on a holiday in [Miles away travel destination] and you were long distance relationship with Aomine for 3 weeks. What's weird about the ore-sama ace is that he was being too out of character missing you too much. And now that you are back with him, he was more grateful and surprisingly inspired. A few moments of practice shooting, some lower class arrived in the courts. "Aomine-san!" [Guy Schoolmate's name] called, Aomine ignored them for now. 

You giggled upon seeing your kouhai become a senpai just like you. "My kouhai has finally become a senpai." You joked, 

"Who's that?" said [Guy Schoolmate #2], referring to you,

"Hey, respect your senpai. She's my girlfriend." Aomine responded, "What do you kouhais want?" he asked, 

"Oh yeah, we wanted to ask you if we could play ball?" they asked, Aomine looked at you. 

"Do you?" Aomine asked you. 

"What's with that look? Well, if you're going to, then I'm on your team." you said, "If I were you, you should give mercy to these newbies. By mercy means, not beating them up, going easy to them Aomine." you added,

"Game on, 2 v 2." Aomine declared and passed the ball to the lower classmen as a starting ball. While the 4 of your were playing, you noticed that Aomine keeps on passing the ball to you. 

"What are you doing, you Power Foward!?" you asked, while dribbling the ball trying to make a drive but was easily stolen by the freshman. "Urgh, steal!" you groaned, 

Aomine laughed at you, "That's okay, baby." he said and stole the ball of the freshman, "Here." he passed the ball to you and you made the shot and it went in. Aomine keeps on looking at you everytime you have your shot in, 

"What?"

"What happen to the 'I don't know how to play basketball?'" he asked, 

"I-It's because my trainor is here." you replied. Aomine went off and played with the freshmen, The world around you suddenly turned slow motion and your eyes were focused on Aomine only. You can see him for the first time play basketball with a smile, enjoying playing with you by having you on his team. You felt your heart warmth when you saw his smile. It was the old Aomine, Momoi would describe. After the game, it was 12-4, having you and Aomine winning. "Nice game, senpai." [Guy schoolmate's name]. 

"Until next time, you midgets." Aomine said, "Grow stronger and join the team." he added. 

"You are so out of character." you said. Aomine, yet again, hugged you and kissed your forehead, "That was a really nice game, baby. Basketball is really more fun with you." he said. 

Finally, the bell rang and the two of you went to your individual classes.

Hiiiii everyone! :D I just wanted to share you this story of mine, based on true story today. I had this kind of bond with my kouhai today and it was great. I had my first game play with him and we beat the crap out of the freshmen. HAHAHA.
