Just like that Marlene Matthews lost her fight with breast cancer. She fought for three straight years. The last thought on her mind was how her twins daughters were going to live without her. Growing up with out a dad was hard enough on them and they didn't even see him that much, since he died in the war. Marlene never remarried after her husbands death. In the case of Marlene's death Brynn and Lynn will live with their twenty-two year old brother, Joe. Joe has his own place thirteen miles from where the girls are living now.
The girls will be starting school in a week, it's their senior year. All of high school Marlene has been sick and now in their last year, she won't be there. Brynn and Lynn have always been insperable and they were always so much alike.
Within that week before school started, Brynn changed for the worst causing her and Lynn to have their first fight in years.
