*Lynn's P.O.V*
I awake with a sharp pain in my cheek the next morning. Zach must have slapped me really hard because my face is still stinging. Clearly the hardcore pain medication that I took last night has worn off. I rub my face as the memories of last night flood through my brain. After Tyler kissed me I was put in a trance by the rhythmic movement of his lips moving against mine, and mine moving against his. When Tyler removed his lips to place them on my neck, my eyes wondered over to one of the many pictures on my vanity. My eyes just had to land on the one of Liam and I. When my eyes see that picture it occurs to me that had—still have—a boyfriend. As much as I wanted to stay Tyler, I just couldn’t cheat on Liam. I am not that kind of person. Just the thought of cheating, or being cheated on, makes me sick to my stomach. I push Tyler off of me aggressively, my mood immediately turning sour. “Get the hell away from me!” I remember screaming as I pushed Tyler out in to the hallway. I think he muttered an apology to me or something, but I was sobbing so hard that it blocked out all outside noise. I cried for a long time last night. I had just taken that long nap so sleep didn’t come very easily. I just laid there crying while everyone down stairs was having the time of their life. I must have fallen asleep somewhere around four in the morning.
My clock on the table next to my bed says that it is now close to noon. I guess it’s about time for me to get up. The throbbing in my cheek is my deciding factor; I need some pain meds, stat. I really hope someone is downstairs, I hate being the first one up. However, given how wild the party was last night, everyone is probably still asleep.
“Well he was the last uninvited guest,” I hear Adrian say as she closes the front door. Walking into the kitchen I see her talking to my brother.
“Um, not to burst your bubble or anything, but last time I checked Dran, I didn’t invite you either,” I joke.
“Yeah I know—“Adrian starts.
“Oh, I invited her to sleep over,” my brother mutters nonchalantly.
“Oh, I see. So are you guys like a couple now?” I question, reaching above the stove to grab an Aspirin.
“Um… uh—well…I” Dran stutters uncomfortably.
“To answer your question sis,” Joe answers, taking a bite of cereal. “Yes, we are.”
“We are?” Adrian questions.
“Yeah, unless you don’t want to be,”
“No, I definitely want to be,” she replies with a kiss.
“Finally!” I squeal running up and hugging them both, successfully ruining their moment.
“Alright, alright, somebody has to go check on Tyler,” Joe chuckles.
“Not it!” I yell detaching myself from Jrian, okay I’m still working on their couple name, “I am not waking him up!”
“Well, it’s either him or Brynn,” Joe responds, “What do you have against the poor guy anyway?”
