*Lynn's P.O.V*
“Nanananananananananananana BATMAN,” Adrian sings pulling a slutty batman costume off the rack.
“Don’t even think about it!” I exclaim.
“Oh come on, if it was up to you, you would wear a costume that covers every inch of your body!” Chris retorts. It’s Wednesday and us girls are shopping for our last minute costumes. We were going to go Monday after school, but Chris had cheer practice and couldn’t make it. Then, we were going to go Tuesday, but that got canceled because Adrian had a doctor’s appointment for her vocal cords. So here we are, Wednesday after school, looking for costumes. Like usual I am the last person to find a costume. Chris was the first person to find a costume. She is a cat, well a slutty cat. Adrian’s costume is pretty adorable. Her and my brother are wearing a cute couple costume, even though the aren’t a ‘couple,’ she is Princess Peach and Joe is Mario. They are going to be the cutest ‘non-couple’ at this party, I swear. “Lynn, you seriously need to step out of your comfort zone. Live a little!”
“Okay, fine! I will live a little. Let’s look on this side of the store,” I motion to the left and start to walk. The girls follow.
“Hmmmmm, this?” Adrian questions holding up a barely-there Superwoman costume.
“Um, never!” I chuckle making a shooing movement with my hand.
“Okay, how about…… this!” Chris pulls a sexy Playboy bunny costume.
“Alright, I guess that’s cute,” I respond hesitantly.
“Wait. What did you just say?” Chris and Adrian ask amazed.
“Yeah, you heard me. I just found my costume!” If they want me to step out of my comfort zone, then this is it. This is so far out of my comfort zone, it’s like all the way in Michigan—okay so that was a bad analogy but you catch my drift. This is actually something Brynn would wear now that I think about it. And besides, at the Halloween party I think I am finally going to do it with Liam. Might as well try to look sexy for him. I already know that he is going as a Hough Heffner so this costume is perfect.
We just got done checking out when my phone rang.
“Hello?”
“Hey”
“Tyler, what do you want?” I roll my eyes even though I know he can’t see through the phone.
“You’re still mad about that?”
“About what? Oh that lie? No I’m not mad, why should I be, if it is not true?”
“If you one-hundred-percent believe that it isn’t true you wouldn’t have this attitude around me.” Tyler responds matter-of-factly.
“Whatever, what do you want anyways?”
