*Lynn's P.O.V.*
“Lynn, what’s the matter? Why are you stopping?”
“Liam I’m sorry. I just can’t do this right now,” I respond, pulling away.
“Ugh,” Liam sighs angrily, “What is your problem? It is just sex. It isn’t that time of the month, is it?”
“No,” I respond, “I’m just not ready. Why do you look so disappointed all of the sudden? I said I’m sorry”
“Because I am disappointed, Lynn. It all started when you didn’t become Cheer Caption, how do you think that looks, huh? The Caption of the football team isn’t dating the Cheer Captain? That’s horrible for my ego, and plus on top of all that, I can’t get banged by my own girlfriend!” he yells and throws his arms up in the air.
“Babe, no, please don’t be mad! I want this to be really special because it’s my first time!” I explain.
“Yeah, yeah, so you’re sure that you aren’t ready?”
“Yeah, but please don’t leave! Maybe we could watch movies or something?” I plead, grabbing his arm trying to get him to not leave.
“No,” he says pulling himself from my grasp, “I think I should go.”
“Okay, love you,” I yell down the hallway since he has already left my room. I flop down on my bed with a huff. What the heck is wrong with me? Why can’t I just do it? Clearly I want to, if I didn’t I wouldn’t have asked Liam to come over today, would I? There is something stopping me, and I am pretty sure it is what Tyler said earlier. That has been on my brain ever since Tyler told me. What if Tyler really saw Liam with another girl? I wouldn’t be surprised if he wanted to look for someone better, seeing how much I disappoint him. Gosh, I am such a disappointment. First I disappoint Joe and now my own boyfriend. I am a terrible person. Like Chris said, maybe Tyler is just trying to sabotage my relationship.
With that in mind I burst through my bedroom door and run down the stairs two at a time into the living room where Tyler is sitting criss-cross-applesauce playing COD online. I doge the many Halloween party supplies that are scattered around the living room, and stand right in front of Tyler.
“Oh, hey there. That was fast,” Tyler says rocking back and forth to try to see the TV around me. “I’m going to have to get back on later,” Tyler tells his headset. I just stand there glaring, with my arms crossed over my chest tapping my foot. “Hey, are you okay?” Tyler says with concern in his voice. He uncrosses his legs and stands up putting a hand on my shoulder, in an act to cheer me up.
“No, I’m not okay, okay? Congratulations you have successfully ruined my relationship. Is this what you want? Do you want me to not be happy?” I ask angrily, waving my arms around like a crazy person.
“What are you talking about?” Tyler asks confused.
“You not exactly what I’m talking about you, you, alpaca!” I exclaim.
“What did you just call me?” Tyler says with a chuckle.
