*Brynn's POV*
"We have to go Halloween costume shopping!" Tanya says excitedly as we arrive at my locker on Monday. Halloween is this Thursday and of course Joe and Tyler are planning they're big Halloween party. It was a lot of fun last year and that was the first year they actually invited Lynn and I and our friends. I was really looking forward to it. Joe was telling me yesterday how they were going to make it ten times better than last year.
"Okay, when do you want to go?"
"How about tomorrow? I have plans with Danny tonight,"
"Sounds good," I smile as I pull out my morning materials I will be needing and shut my locker.
Tanya and I started walking down the hallway towards our classes when all of sudden someone whips around the corner and runs right into me causing my books to fall and theirs as well.
I immediately kneeled down to collect my books without even checking to see who the person was, but after I knelt down, they did too, and we both locked eyes.
"Sorry," Kyle mumbled.
"It's fine," I replied.
His eyes pulled away from mine and he picked up his stuff.
After he gathered his fallen things, I broke my creepy gaze on him and started to pick up my things.
He got up before me and when I was about to get up, I looked up and found him outstretching is arm to help me up.
I took his offer and grabbed his hand and he pulled me up.
Kyle gave me a half-hearted smile and then walked past Tanya and I and into his English class.
"You could just feel like awkwardness," Tanya said acting as if she could physically touch the awkwardness.
"Yeah, I know,"
"If you miss him, tell him,"
"No," I said quickly, "I'm fine without him, I don't miss him,"
"Okay, whatever you say," Tanya sang.
"I'll see you at lunch," I growled and then started walking to class.
"Love you!" Tanya shouted after me. I stuck my middle finger up in return and walked into class just as the bell rang.

"Hello?" A voice answered.
"Hey, Zach? It's me, Brynn," I said to the guy on the other end of the phone. I've been sitting at home for a few hours watching Disney movies and I needed something to do.
"Brynn? Why are you calling me?" Zach asked sounding rather shocked.
"Well, I'm really bored and I want something to do. And you were the first person that popped into my head to call,"
"Really? Wow. What do you want to do?"
"Anything you want to do,"
"Anything?"
"Anything."
"Well, why don't you come over to my place, no ones home,"
"Sure, can you pick me up?"
"Absolutely,"
"Okay, I'll text you my address. See you in a little bit Zach," I said and then hung up the phone. I then shot him the text with my address.
Zach graduated last year. He had a little crush on me, but I always turned him down because of Mason. He was captain of the basketball and he is totally hot.
