*Lynn's P.O.V.*

The sun is shining through Tyler’s windows and it wakes me up. I feel Tyler’s warm arm wrapped around my waist. I look over my shoulder and I see that he is still sleeping, his mouth slightly parted, snoring softly. I also notice that even though I’m still in my dress from last night, Tyler is shirtless. His perfectly toned torso rises and falls with every breath.

“Hey bro are you ready to—Lynn? What the hell? My brother barges into Tyler’s room and grabs Tyler and throws him off the bed, waking him up of course.

“What the…?” Tyler responds right before my brother throws a punch, directed right at his face.

“Joe!” I scream running off the bed over to my brother’s side trying to pull him off Tyler, “Stop! It’s not what you think. We didn’t do anything. I was a mess after Homecoming and Tyler was just trying to comfort me!” I exclaim

“Yeah right,” Joe mutters pulling his arm back for another swing, “I swear to god if he took advantage of you because you were sad, I’m going to kick his ass!”

“Wait!” Tyler pleads, “You really think I would do that to your sister? Maybe some drunk girl at a club or something, but I would never do that to someone I actually care about.”

“Joe, calm down. I swear we didn’t do anything,” I tell my brother calmly.

“Alright, Alright, But seriously if Tyler—or any guy for that matter—ever hurts you in any way I will personally kick his ass,”

“So will I,” Tyler mutters almost silently looking at the floor. I don’t think he wanted Joe or me to hear it. I instantly blush, which is weird because I don’t blush very easily.

“Oh and Tyler,” Joe says completely ignoring Tyler’s remark, “Put a shirt on.”

“Yes sir!” Tyler replies, jokingly saluting my brother. They do that weird guy hand shake and I guess that means they aren’t mad anymore. Wow, I wish getting over this fight with Brynn would be that easy.

My brother exits the room and Tyler goes into his closet to find a shirt.

“I should go get cleaned up,” I yell to Tyler from the outside of his closet door, “Thank you for being here for me last night, by the way.”

“No problem Lynn, anytime,” Tyler yells back.

“Okay,” I sigh as I exit Tyler’s room and trudge into my bathroom to shower. I practically ripped half of my hair out just trying to untangle the tiara that I won last night. God what did I do last night? Last night was really a blur; I vaguely remember what happened after I was crowned. I recall trying to push through the crowd screaming my sister’s name, and then next thing I knew I was being carried into Tyler’s room. I don’t even know if my sister is here right now. Thinking about last night gives me a headache so I push all of those thoughts out of my brain, and jump in the shower. I stay in the hot, steamy, shower for a while. I only get out when my fingers and toes resemble raisins.

I get out and wrap my hair and body in separate towels and make my way to me room. I walk into my room and discover Adrian sprawled out on my bed watching Dear John, two empty packages of my Twizzlers in front of her.

“Boo!”  I shriek, from right behind her ear.

“Ahhh!” she reacts, clutching her heart, “You scared me half to death! It’s about time you got out of the shower. When I got her Tyler said you had already been in the shower for a half hour. That was forty-five minutes ago!”

“Wow!” I exclaim, I really didn’t thin k I was in there that long. I don’t know I guess showers are calming to me or something.

“Yeah, anyways I was just coming to check on you and make sure you are okay. You were pretty messed up last night. So I thought what better way to cheer you up, other than having a sleep over and watching chick flicks all day!” Adrian chirps, “ I know I’m the best!”
