Both Rocinante and Chloe exchanged swift glances with each other, both frowning at the two youths sitting in front of them, Law was silently chewing down on his broccoli, but his eyes were definitely screaming desprate words at the (H/C) haired female beside him, a curious bruise was forming on his face, but the father deemed it just another accident from a play fight with the two boys that he hanged around with at school.

(Y/N) though, didn't give the tanned raven a single glance as she almost violently stabbed at what remained of her steak, still playing with the same potato bit in her mouth, Chloe could barely spot an invisible trail of tears that seemed to have gone down her cheeks not that long ago as she blankly stared at the messy plate, but it was too subtle to actually point out.

"Okay, me and Cora here are going to go out for a moment" finally both of the teens looked her in the eye as well as the blonde male, "what?" He squeaked, but the adult was quickly silenced by a hidden elbow to the gut.

Ignoring his weak protests of her plan, the pale woman easily dragged his ass across the floor and outside before giving the two a small, kindhearted smile just as she passed the front door, "get along you two, and do not do anything stupid, you hear?" The woman shut the front door immediately before any of them could possibly respond even if they wanted to.

Silence briefly entered the room before immediately being vacated by Law's quick chatter, "(Y/N) I am sorry I did not know how my words affected you please forgive me I was being dimwitted and-" "ignorant" the girl silenced him with a single word, it wasn't forceful or hostile, but it made Law's mouth snap shut faster than a bear trap.

Slowly meeting his eyes with her soft (E/C) ones, the boy felt his heart swell in the rejuvenating forgiveness he found in them, "you're not stupid Law, you're just ignorant, and I'm sorry too, I shouldn't have snapped like that, I was once very ignorant too after all" she thought back to when she first arrived and smiled.

Looking up at Law's stupefied expression with a gentle smile, she carefully slid her hand onto his own before raising her other one to his cheeks, blushing at their short distance, the noble's cocoa shaded skin flushed a soft hue of pink at her soft, calming touch, how he wanted to kiss her at that moment and find out how her lips felt.

"So then, why don't I educate you?" Law felt some deep, primal part of himself swell with unease and attraction from her sweet honey tone, like that one small part of a sailor that's still conscious and trying to snap the rest of his body back into reality in order to keep the enchanting siren below from alluring them to their demise, but (Y/N) definitely wasn't dangerous as far as he knew, right?

Wanting nothing but to please the girl after upsetting her so, once again he found himself acting before thinking and nodded his head in agreement, "yes" he mummered in a daze, still finding warmth in her clear (E/C) orbs, sinking into their depths and making a small home in them, that warm look was all for him, and how dearly he wanted it to stay that way.

Smiling at his answer, Law was left nothing but quivering jello from the spark he felt thump in his chest when she rubbed both her hands with his own in such a calming manner, god he was nothing but crumbling sand under her treacherous touch.

"Okay then, but we gotta make a quick change in clothes first" the raven felt that feeling from before rise back from his gut but shoved it back down once more, (Y/N) was the sweetest thing on the planet who cared for her friends, she was the best thing that ever happened to him, there wasn't anything for him to be worried about.

Law was regretting almost every choice he made today, sweating bullets as (Y/N) tinkered with a primitive looking device that mildly piked his intrest, occasionally looking up at the wall that divided them from the uncivilized, barbaric ruffians ahead.
