Chapter 11

Sonia's P.O.V:

My alarm went off at 7:00 am sharp. I got up and sat back on my bed. I don't know why but I really don't wanna go to University today either. Maybe I just don't wanna face Andrew. But I have to. Or else he'll think that I got scared and backed out. Which is so not what I wanna do. I mean what am I being scared of? What could he possibly do? Until now all he did was give a lot of threats to me and that's all. Never did he implement any of it. And I hope things stay that way.

I got out of bed and got ready for University. I did my normal routine and changed into a red long shirt with black jeans. I didn't do any makeup today. But I did make my hair look good. I styled it up into a lose bun that made my face look a little bit wider. I checked myself in the mirror and when I was satisfied with myself I went downstairs for breakfast. I made myself a cup of hot chocolate and took a piece of bread. 

I drove to University at normal speed since I still had plenty of time left. Passing through the bus stop I searched for the regular hoodie person but to my surprise he wasn't there. Well maybe he got tired of this town and went away. Anyways that's none of my business. 

When I reached the University parking lot I parked my car where I always do and walked towards the gate. Damian was already standing there waiting for me. I smiled as I saw him and called out

"Damian!" I waved jogging towards him. His eyes lit up and a wide smile formed on his face when he saw me.

"My Goodness Sonia where have you been? I got so worried" He said once I was by his side

"I texted you. I wasn't really feeling well yesterday so I had to miss classes"

"That's what I'm asking. What happened?" He asked now worried

"Oh nothing just a slight fever and a headache. I recovered soon so there's nothing to worry about" I told him

"Hmm you sure? You're not really the type to miss classes unless something really important happens. Did you go to the doctor? Did you take medicine?" He asked with concern in his voice

"Yes Damian I'm fine don't worry" I smiled cheekily at how he thought I was a child and couldn't take care of myself.

"If you say so" 

We walked to the lockers while he told me about all the lessons I missed yesterday

"Nothing too important really happened. Most teachers revised the syllabus as exams are drawing near. Though Mr. Arnold did announce a test on Friday" He told me

"Agghhh Mr. Arnold's test!!" I whined. He really did always give super hard tests and demanded us to pass with satisfactory grades

"It's okay. We can study for it together. I mean if it's okay with you of course" Damian half proposed half asked

"That would be a great idea. We can prepare for it together. We do have just three days left for it don't we" I agreed willingly

"Yup" He said with a wide smile

The starting bell rang and we walked to our classes. Our first class was of Science with Mr. Henry. 

"Good Morning class" said Mr. Henry in his usual cheerful tone

"Good Morning" we all replied

The class started and I was completely zoned in the lecture until someone patted my back. I turned around to see it was Lola.

"Hey I know I shouldn't be asking this right now but have you seen Andrew? I haven't seen him since morning and he never really misses a class" She whispered loud enough just for me to hear.
