Joe jumped out the shower drying his hair with the towel the best he could before drying his body and he slipped some boxers on. He wondered down the hall laughing when he ruffled Nick's hair hearing him groan as he straightened his hair out. He entered his bedroom slipping on some skinny jeans and one of his shirts before grabbing his phone and wallet shoving them in his pocket. Only then he made his way downstairs and into the kitchen picking up an apple from the bowl seeing his mother at the stove cooking his father at the table with a coffee and the newspaper.

"Joseph, what are you doing up so early on a Saturday? If I had known I would have made you some breakfast." Denise stated basting the oil over the fried egg.

"It's okay, I'm just going out." Joe answered drinking the orange juice from the carton ignoring his mother as she slapped his arm.

"With the girlfriend?" Paul questioned peering over his newspaper.

"Maybe." Joe mumbled screwing the lid back onto the carton.

"It's okay if you are Joe, you don't need to hide what you're doing from us if you're going out with her. I just ask you to be careful, that's all." Denise assured him putting the egg on the plate passing it to Joe who gave it to Paul quickly before sticking his fingers in his ears.

"I'm not listening!" Joe exclaimed Denise rolling her eyes grabbing hold of his wrist forcing it back down by his side. "Mom we're fourteen, we're not doing that kinda stuff."

"You kissed her yet?" Paul asked chuckling at the look his wife gave him.

"I'm not talking to my parents about this!" Joe exclaimed. "I'll be back by 2040." Joe left the house through the back door jogging around to the front of the house where he climbed up onto his bike strapping his helmet over his head before setting off.

"Sorry I'm late, mom and dad decided to stop me for a chat." Joe stated as he walked over the grass sitting on the swing next to hers leaning over pecking her lips gently leaving a smile on both their lips as they sat straight again on the swing.

"It's okay, I haven't been waiting long," She assured him kicking her legs gently so she started swinging. "I thought you usually did something with your family on a Saturday."

"We've been together for four months today, I thought we'd go on a date." Joe spoke honestly making her smile. He got up from his swing pushing her instead.

"And what do you have planned Mr. Jonas?" Joe smiled as she tilted her head back intending to peck her lips gently as he leaned down but kissed her cheekbone instead.

"I thought we'd go see a movie then maybe ice cream?" Joe suggested.

"That sounds nice but maybe we should go get some breakfast first." She stated hopping off the swing Joe catching it before it could swing back and hit him.

"What do you fancy?" Joe questioned as he caught up with her grabbing hold of her hand not caring that it was hot outside.

"Mc Donald's."

"Come on then." Joe demanded pulling her in a different direction laughing when she slapped him with the hand which wasn't holding his. But they were soon in silence as they walked but it was a comfortable silence, they just liked spending time with one another.

"Joe." He heard after a while knocking him out his thoughts looking down at her as she looked back up at him.

"Yeah?" He answered.

"Do you think we'll be together forever?" She asked Joe smiling leaning down pecking her lips gently leaving a smile on her face as he pulled away.

"I hope so; I think I love you Demi." Joe breathed.

"I think I love you too Joe." Demi replied leaning her head on his arm as they walked. They were only fourteen but they thought they had met their soulmate already.
