Joe smiled as Demi took hold of his hand as they exited the movie theatre, he could feel her tight grasp on his hand, it was hurting him a bit but he'll never admit it.

"I can't believe you convinced me to go into a scary movie!" Demi exclaimed. "And it was meant to be my turn to pick the film!"

"Fine you can pick the next one but did I do a good job at protecting my girl?" Demi giggled leaning up kissing his cheek gently.

"Of course my knight and shining armour." She answered making him laugh as her grip lessened and they headed towards the ice cream parlor they always went to. They often went there after school and shared a sundae if they had some money between them. They hung out all the time just the two of them enjoying one another's company.

"I think my parents want to meet you." Joe admitted.

"And I think my parents want to meet you. I mean we've been together for four months, you would think we'd be less scared to introduce one another to our parents." Demi stated.

"You clearly haven't met my parents." Joe mumbled and she laughed.

"They can't be that bad. I've met your brothers and nothing can get much worse than that." Demi giggled and Joe chuckled.

"I'll talk to them when I get home," Joe answered smiling as Demi kissed his cheek as he held the door open for her and she entered the two of them heading straight to the counter. They were quickly able to pick a sundae for them to share and they sat down in a booth by the window. "Will your dad hate me? Will he question me until I wet my pants?" Demi laughed shaking her head.

"My step dad is pretty cool, I think he should be alright." Demi assured him.

"You don't seem convinced," He replied pointing at her and Demi laughed again going to bite his finger until he moved it away the two of them laughing until Joe pecked her lips. "I keep escaping the sex talk from mom and dad. Apparently I'm at that age now." He rolled his eyes and Demi smiled.

"As if they don't think you know what it is already? I got the talk from mom when I was eleven. I started my period and she explained the whole thing at once." Demi shrugged her shoulders.

"Yeah, I remember you telling me afterwards and how grossed out I was about it."

"You're not grossed out about it now?" Demi inquired.

"Not really, not now I have someone I care and love enough to want to do it with." He replied and Demi only smiled more.

"Really?" She questioned. "Cuz I kind of want to try it."

"You know it will hurt?" He questioned and Demi nodded her head gently.

"I know but I care and love for you so much that I don't mind. It will feel amazing too." Demi replied.

"Okay maybe later, I want ice cream first." Joe teased and she giggled. "We need to prepare too, buy protection and whatnot." Joe spoke in a quieter tone as they brought the sundae over to them with two spoons and they both started to dig in.

"Where should we do it though? We can't at home."

"The tree house I found with Nick and Kev?" Joe suggested.

"Only if we get blankets." Demi replied and Joe chuckled.

"We'll sort something out." He replied as he fed her some ice cream from his spoon.

Demi followed Joe climbing up into the tree house. They had spent a lot of time here. Joe had found it with his brothers a couple of years ago and they had been coming ever since. They appeared to be the only ones who knew of the tree house or still used it. They had kept it between them the only one who knew of it besides the three brothers was Demi. Joe dumped his bag down on the floor turning back to her.

"Are you sure you want to do this? We can wait until we're a little older, I'm not going anywhere." Joe stated but Demi shook her head taking hold of his hands.

"I love you and I want to feel that closeness with you." She replied and Joe smiled leaning down kissing her gently and she kissed him back.

"I love you." He mumbled against her lips before he turned the kiss deeper the kiss starting to get heated.

Soon clothes were being taken off as they shared their first time with one another.
