"I really like the nursery and I think she will like it too. If she's anything like her own mom then she's not going to like pink anyway." Demi stated and they all laughed but Demi couldn't help but smile at the sight of the room she knew he daughter would sleep in when she was here and a little older. They were promised updates through the years, they just didn't want to be apart of her life. Maybe way into the future when she was old enough to learn that she was adopted. She knew she'd want to meet her own parents if she was adopted. They wouldn't deprive Gracie of that.

"We can't wait to have her here, you think you can speed the process on?" Will questioned and they all laughed again.

"I'm sorry but no, it's hard to think she's gonna get even bigger, she's already constantly shuffling for a new position because she's too big to find somewhere comfortable." Demi mumbled feeling Joe rub her back gently. She had been having plenty of baths but even the act of Joe rubbing the bottom of her back helped with the aches a little bit.

"We should go downstairs, Will will start the barbecue." Lilly demanded softly as they all piled back out of the room Lilly shutting the door behind them so they could continue to air the room out of the paint fumes.

"Nick will be jealous." Joe grinned and Demi laughed being careful on the stairs again but they were all patient with her. They'd hate for her to fall and cause any unwanted visits to check whether Gracie was still okay. They knew any fall could be fatal.

"Invite everyone over. We have enough." Lilly demanded.

"Are you sure?" Joe questioned and she nodded her head.

"Of course, call it a thank you for what you're families are doing for us." Lilly urged.

"Thanks, I'll call them once we get Demi seated again." Joe stated helping her down the last step and they entered the living room Demi letting out a sigh of relief when her butt hit the couch.

"Call my mom and dad too?" Demi questioned.

"Will do," Joe promised kissing the side of her head gently before he took his phone out of his pocket.

"I'll go make a start on the salad and sides, help yourselves to the TV." Lilly demanded softly and they thanked her as she left the room. It was summer at the moment and Gracie would be born before they went back to school. They weren't looking forward to the teasing again and it would be clear that they didn't have the baby anymore because Demi's body would mostly be back to normal. Joe didn't know how much longer he'd be in school. The album was coming out soon and if it did well enough he'd be touring and doing his schooling on the road. Demi didn't know if she could live without him at school but she wanted him to go out and be happy. She half wished she could go with him.

"It was nice of Will and Lilly to do this." Denise praised as she sat down next to Joe and Demi kissing Joe's head gently and he leaned his head on her shoulder. She knew he was starting to see how much work it was really going to be to have the baby and be able to afford everything. Especially when Will and Lilly showed them the nursery. They hadn't even brought that many clothes or toys for her yet either. He hadn't mention wanting to give raising their daughter a go in a while.

"Yeah it was nice and it's a nice day so it makes it even better." Joe replied .

"Speak for yourself, being heavily pregnant in this weather is exhausting." Demi mumbled and they all laughed.

"I know the feeling." Eddie shouted over to them and Demi shook her head as they laughed again.

"It will all be over soon, are you regretting the adoption?"

"I'd love to keep her and raise her. I just know what's better for all of us and that is for her to live with and be raised by Will and Lilly. We'll be able to finish school or whatever then we can think about a family in the future." Demi expressed.

"After this we still want a family." Joe stated grabbing hold of her hand tangling their fingers together. They knew people doubted that they'd be together in the future but they had no doubts. They knew they loved one another and they knew that they wanted to get married one day and spent the rest of their lives together raising a family. They knew Gracie wouldn't be apart of that but they knew she'd have a perfect home and family here.

"And that's how it should be so no more surprise babies." Denise warned and they blushed slightly.

"We've learnt our lesson," Demi assured her. "I'm gonna go on the pill after all of this even if it is for just in case."

"Smart girl and Joe, you can play your part too." Denise urged and Joe rolled his eyes at her but the blush was clear on his cheek.

"Mom, stop it." He demanded and she laughed pinching his cheek gently before he slapped her hand away.

"My boys are going to be famous, I need to make sure you're all going to be okay when I'm not around." Denise demanded.
