It took Joe nearly seven minutes to come back around from the seizure letting out the too familiar groan he did. He could faintly hear his last name being chanted knowing it was the crowd begging for him and his brothers to go back onto the stage. He wished he could be at the moment, he knew he couldn't. He couldn't go out and do his own job.
"Joe are you okay?" He heard Demi and his eyes fluttered open seeing Nick was next him too Wilmer and Kevin stood not too far away. Other crew members were around but they were keeping their distance.
"I-I can't go out again." He mumbled.
"We're gonna cancel the show tonight." Nick assured him and they all helped him get up and sit on a chair Joe slouching on it rubbing his face. He always felt groggy after a fit and he knew it would continue for the rest of the night now.
"D-Don't cancel it," Joe demanded. "Go out just you two or something. Everyone is already there and sat down." Kevin and Nick glanced at one another both nodding their heads.
"As long as you're okay with that." Kevin answered and Joe nodded slightly but he could already feel a headache coming on.
"I'm fine with that, or Demi could go on. You said you know our songs." Joe suggested and they all looked over at her.
"I mean, I do but I look nothing like you." Demi stated and they all laughed.
"We can do it alone or you can come on, it's up to you whether you want to or not. It can be scary for someone who's never done it before." Nick stated.
"I'll cope, just excuse if I don't know when I'm singing and stuff." Demi stated.
"We'll sort something out," Kevin promised. "We'll go discuss it now." They begun to walk away but Joe grabbed Demi hand forcing her to look down at him.
"G-Gracie is out there." Joe stammered slightly and Demi didn't try and hide her surprised expression.
"Really?" She inquired and Joe nodded her head.
"She was at meet and greet, apparently Joe is her favorite." Nick chuckled slightly and Demi let out a breathless laugh.
"Mom reached out to Lilly, she wants to talk to me later but you can come along if you want." Joe stated.
"I'll think about it." Demi stated but they wandered away Wilmer being the one who helped Joe up and back towards the dressing room.
"She's stealing my job now." Joe joked and Wilmer laughed.

It took about half an hour for them to run through everything Demi needed to know before they could go out on stage. Someone had gone on to make an announcement and to assure everyone that despite the emergency, a show would be put on tonight. Joe was sat backstage with Wilmer the two of them watching the two brothers and Demi perform. Some people had left it not being the show they paid for but a lot of people stayed enjoying two of the brothers they came to see and Demi who was clearly enjoying herself. The show was nearly over, there were only a couple of songs left and although Joe was getting tired, he wanted to see the end of the show he'd be out doing if he felt well enough. He wanted to talk to Lilly too before he thought about going to bed.
"We'd like to call someone special back onto stage!" Kevin called and Wilmer laughed as Joe rolled his eyes but he very steadily got back up onto his feet and headed out onto the stage hearing the crowd shout for him. A backstage member put a chair down for him and he sat down on it looking out at the crowd which were chanting his name. He had to try hard to hold back his tears.
"Joe clearly isn't feeling very well at the moment but he was the one that demanded that we carry on and put this show on for you guys. Thank you to the ones who stuck around despite Joe not singing for you guys. This is our last song for tonight but we promise to see you guys real soon." Kevin spoke out to the crowd.
"And I just want to thank Demi for coming out and singing Joe's bits for us, my throat would be killing me by now if she hadn't of done." Everyone laughed as Demi bowed to him. They begun the song and Joe felt the urge to cry even more knowing that this could be the last time he was ever on stage.The only thing distracting his mind away from that was Demi coming by him putting the microphone in front of him to sing the words that should be coming out of his own mouth.
The fans knew something was going on and they'd know later on that night the truth.
