"Daymon!", I run to him, throwing my sandals.

When we reach eachother, Daymon engulfs me in a hug. We stand there like that for a few minutes before I ask, "How are you here? How are you human?".

Daymon raises an eyebrow, "What? Did you really think I wouldn't have gotten away from those Diru wimps?", he laughs.

"To be honest, I didn't think I'd ever see you again, let alone a human", I say looking down.

"Well, would you like to hear my amazing story or not?", Daymon lifts my head with his finger.

I laugh, "Of course! Come on lets go back to where I'm staying for the moment so you can tell me".

We race eachother back to the beach house, laughing as he gets there just before I do. "Daymon! When did you get here?", Olivia had come back out on the patio and was reading a book.

"Oh, half an hour ago", he pauses to catch his breath from the run. "Took me a while to find the beach house, I haven't been here for a few years", Daymon replys.

I scrunch my forehead in confusion, "Wait, you two know eachother?".

"Yeah, she's and old friend of the family", Daymon points at Olivia with his thumb.

"I was good friends with this trouble maker's mother", Olivia smirks.

"Hey!", Daymon exclames.

I start to walk inside, it's too dark to talk outside anymore, "Come on, Daymon has a story to tell".

All three of us get comfortable in Olivia's living room. I claim the black leather chair, Daymon on the couch to match my chair, and Olivia in her recliner. Daymon is laying across the couch with his hands behind his head, he is wearing kaki shorts with a black v-neck and tennis shoes. The outfit looks really nice on him. Daymon's shirt shows off his muscular build and tan skin.

Very attractive, I can't help thinking. Shaking my head, and turning back to more important topics I say, "Start from the top Daymon".

Daymon looks at us and begins, "All right, so once I saw you change back into a human I was overpowered by like five to ten Diru. I fought them, but you know, it wasn't a fair fight so I stopped and let them take me. Knowing you were safe was the only thing that mattered to me", Daymon smiles a small smile towards me.

I can't help but wonder why he would think that. "Actually", I cut in. "A Diru followed me to the surface, but Olivia over here saved my life", I look at Olivia and smile, she returns it with that small grin of hers.

'I'm so sorry, I didn't know", Daymon says.

"It's fine, you wouldn't have been able to get to me, anyways, keep going".

"So, the Diru dragged me to the cave and cornered me so I wouldn't try to escape. One of the main Diru, I assume, ordered my execution right then and there". I shudder hearing the word execution, as does Daymon.
