I'm in the darkest part of the ocean.  I have my tail which confuses me, but oh well.  I can barely see my hand infront of my face.  I decide to swim to the surface, hoping for some light.  I swim up and up and up and up, but there still isn't a light.  I stop all off the sudden when I hear a scream to my left, then one to my right.  I can't see anyone so I swim straight.

No, wait, I see something.  There are two red dots up ahead.  I swim fast hoping it's a person or something that can help me.  As I approach the two dots, they actually aren't dots, they are eyes!  Two blood red, sunken eyes stare at me.  They get closer.  I try to get away because I know what the monster will do to me if it reaches me.  Large claws enclose my arms and neck, holding me still so I can't move.  That pair of eyes is almost to me.

Closing my eyes I hope that this is a dream, I tell myself that when I open my eyes there won't be any monsters.

I count in my head: One, Two, Three!  Opening my eyes, those blood red eyes are so close to my face I can feel the monster's horrid breath on my face.  Screaming I squeeze my eyes shut.

When my eyes open, I look up at a blue ceiling.  I have blankets tangled around me and my hair is in my face.  I sit up pushing the hair out of my eyes and clutching the blanket.

It was only a dream.  Only a dream.

The clock next to me reads: 3:05.

I can't possibly fall back asleep now, and I'm really in the mood for hot cocoa.  Redoing my hair and wrapping myself in a blanket, I walk down the stairs quietly and make myself some hot cocoa.  I lean against the counter in the kitchen and drink my delicious, hot, drink.  Thinking about my dream makes me want to crawl up into a ball and hide, so I think about nothing.

When I finsh my drink, I decide to go out onto the patio and sit there till its morning.

Looking outside, I notice the small table is moved and replaced by a fire pit.  A warm fire is going, but I'm not alone.  Daymon is sitting out there looking at the water.

"Can I join you?", I say.

Daymon jumps a little from my voice, "I see I'm not the only one who can't sleep".

"No, I fell asleep.  Had a bad dream", I tighten the blanket around me and lean my hip against the door frame.

"Come tell me about it", he pats the spot next to him.

I don't refuse.  Sitting down next to him I tell Daymon my dream.  He listened the whole time, and nods his head at the right parts.
