Dustin's Pov: 2 1/2 weeks before the wedding
Lately Holly and Poppy has been hangin with us and has been teaching us more about The Hobbit and middle-Earth and turning us all to (even more than some of them already are) to geeks or nerds. They even taught us some songs the dwarfs sang in the movies.
The few rare times we got to hear Holly were singing. Not that we were complaining, she... he... I don't even know... has a great voice and a strange rang that not a normal person would have. One point they be singing a pretty high note, then to a very low note, one that a girl would not normally be able to do. Then go right back to the high note from before.
We all tried our best to sing songs, but both of them quickly realized that we were better off with "All say the lyrics at once and try your best at singing it" kind of songs (that's what I like to call them)
One time when we were practicing Bofur's song from the first hobbit movie during the Rivendell feast scene (One of my favorites to be honest with myself) Holly actually jumped up and started singing and pretending to play a fiddle in the middle of the group of singing teenagers. If the grown ups downstairs didn't know any better they would have thought we were drunk.
Pierce's Pov: 1 Week before the Wedding
I can't believe the news I just heard! I simply cannot believe this!
I just got a call from my mom, she had great news for me and I agreed that it was more than great! My mom is finally remarrying to the boyfriend she got right before I moved out for college. I can't blame her for choosing him, I met him one weekend when I came to visit her. She was unmarried for such a long time and I was so proud to find out that she's remarrying and that I'll have a (somewhat) father again!
He was a nice man and I swear if he changes that I will have something say about it. I truly believed that my mom deserved the best and in her eyes he was.
I can't wait for the wedding! I really wanted to help with preparing it and making sure my mom doesn't go crazy planning and bossing people around. Before this time, I have already helped with quite a few weddings since my family was all about marrying and having children much older than what others may say was young.
So, I've had some experience with brides being stressed and bossy before (and sometimes after) the wedding. I've learned a lot about "don't listen to the groom, just do what the bride says" kind of things.
So, I overworked myself so that I won't have to worry about working on homework or projects while on this trip to help my mom.
"Also, me and Conner have decided that you can bring you little group of friends." She told me through the phone right before I was about to hang up. I was a little confused and baffled that she thought my "squad" (as Stella said it was in our group chat) was small. Though, I was still thankful that she would allow this. "Thank you so much! They might be able to help as well" I added before we said our goodbyes again and hung up.
~~Time Skip~~2 days before the wedding
I drove back to my hometown to pick up a few of my friends and the rest would be picked up by Poppy and Holly. We all headed to the plantation spot my mom picked out a few days prier. She sent me a few pictures in hope for a good opinion but I wasn't able to text back since I was working ahead for this trip.
I did look at them later though and thought the area was awesome for this kind of occasion. Once I saw it in person my mouth dropped at the sight, the same happened to Lucus, Luri, Stella, Dustin and Rickie. Since the others were still in Poppy's car, we couldn't see their reactions.
Once my mom saw all of our reactions she then started telling us to help with overhang over where the priest was going to be. It was at first just a black pole that bent over all around to the other side of where the priest was going to be.
