Logan, Sunday Morning
I sat in the Ravenclaw common room with a book in front of my and a full stomach. I had ate a bunch of sweets with Maxwell last night and now I regret it. I never ate that much, but we stayed up so late talking in the library that we forgot how much we ate and what time it was. I wasn't in the mood for breakfast.
I looked up from my book and saw Agate, a friend of mine, walk up to the couch and sat beside me, holding a book in her hands. On the cover said "The Art Of Holding On And Letting Go by: Kristen Bastley Lenz" It was one of the few books I've read in my extra time in the common room. It was new to the library too, Hogwarts had recently gotten newer books and stories and updated some text books, which I'm happy about.
"What's that book about?" I asked. I had not even looked at the blurb on the back, most of the time I would be looking at another book that looked a bit more interesting.
"I'm not sure yet actually, I just picked it up to read something. I can tell you everything about it once I'm done though." Agate said. She flipped to the first page and started to read, I didn't want to disrupt her but quietly added "Don't tell me everything, I still want to read it myself."
She nodded and went back to reading silently. I finally looked up and saw how high the sun was through the giant window of the common room. It couldn't be morning anymore, it looked almost 10 o'clock now. I should eat something so I won't be hungry later before lunch time.
I got up and headed out of the common room and towards the dinning tables and tried to spot Maxwell or Alexander and Benjamin, who are twins in Hufflepuff. Probably because their so unexpectedly nice for identical twins, their so stereotyped that identical twins love to get into trouble.
Alex and Ben are both in their 3rd year at Hogwarts and 13 years old. They had jet black hair and both have thin bodies as if they lived off apple and orange juice all their lives. Their faces are always so soft and calm, a bit tan and not a freckle to be seen. They always seem to know what each other are thinking and tries to help other students whenever they can, and that's how we met.
In the middle of Potions homework they saw me trying to help Maxwell again with something. They came over and explained it to him in a way I never thought would make since to him, or myself in some parts. We finished soon after and we hung out during eating times, or whenever they come down. I swear they probably sneak food into their dorms to eat, either that or they don't like to eat, which is a surprise for a Hufflepuff.
I looked around and when I couldn't find either of them I sat down at the Ravenclaw table to wait for someone to come over. Soon enough after I ate I heard quick footsteps getting louder behind me. I looked around and wasn't surprised to see Maxwell, carrying his staff, slowing down and breathing hard, leaning on his knees behind me.
Maxwell sucked in a breath and sat beside me and hugged me. I had already stopped eating and guessed he had already ate. He let go of me and noticed (like me) that there weren't many other people at the breakfast table at around ten thirty in the morning.
"Do you know where Braylen is? He wanted me to help him and his team with quidditch practice." He asked, looking back at me.
Of course, he spends a lot of his free weekends helping Braylen with stuff like studying and quidditch practice. He doesn't even like quidditch, or understand it most of the time. "I didn't see him this morning but he might already be at the field." I said.
"Thanks, I might see you later." He said getting up to leave.
"Your welcome, but why do you help with his practices if you don't even know half the things you should know about quidditch?" I asked before he could run away.
