Chapter 8: Two Supports, the other, Unconscious

"Woah there. Last time I checked you're just calling me dumb-dumb. Nice upgrade." Kai blunted and walks pass Jae Mi, bumping his shoulders at her purposely.

Jae blew her bangs frustratingly and grabbed Kai on the shoulder, gripping it tightly and forced him to turn around. It caught Kai off guard.

Aish! This lady! Who does she think she is huh?! Kai flamed internally as he glared daggers at her.

Jae scoffed air and shook her head in dismay only to focus back at Kai and grip his collars harshly with both hands.

What the?! Kai was startled. A girl wearing a white dress shouldn't act like a delinquent and all. It makes Kai more unconsciously interested but utterly annoyed.

"YAH! From the very day I saw your bitch face I've always wanted to punch you!" She pulls Kai closer closing their gap. "You got me fired from my work did you huh?" She dangerously whispered making some people look their way.

"Yes I did. So what? You're gonna make a scene here? Don't involve me. I just expressed my complaints as a loving customer." Kai patted his heart dramatically and shoved Jae Mi, making her stumble and fall on her butt.

You can clearly hear loud gasps as all he did was smirk. He didn't care about the small crowd forming just to watch them.

No one even dared to help Jae Mi.

Kai glared one more time and turned his heels away from the manly girl but truth is, she was just acting strong. It was a practice.

Jae Mi then, suddenly feels bullied, alone and helpless and tears started welling up her eyes.

She've been through a lot inside one day and it's normal for her to breakdown with all the stress and loneliness she's keeping to herself.

It's really hard to act so strong when the truth is, she's just starting to stand alone. But Kai comes in the perfect timing and flicks her small built blocks making it stumble with her on the ground.

The not-so-far Kai flinched after hearing an earshooting scream from Jae Mi.

"WAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!" She bursted hysterically making the crowd look at the culprit: Kai.

Kai's eyes widened at the size of dinner plates as well as her brows knitting together, hesistating if he would only watch the girl or leave her like she's someone crazy.

Later on, he finds himself walking back straight to her. He didn't want to, but his feet was doing the other way.

What the hell is this girl's thing now?! Kai ruffled his hair out of annoyance.

He didn't want to make people think he made the girl cry like a baby. Yes he didn't mind the crowd a while ago because it was Jae Mi who started it, but now he can hear disgusted whispers against him which made his brows twitch irritated.

Jae Mi on the otherhand, was still sobbing and letting everything out, still on the ground and not minding the crowd.

Kai hollered to her and stooped down whispering "What's your problem really huh?! Want me to take you to your asylum?!" He threatened which made her cry louder.

"MY MOM DIED BECAUSE OF YOU! YOU IDIOT ASSHOLE!" Jae Mi blamed and cursed. Kai grew confused like the small crowd who heard.

What a puzzle she is. Kai rubs his temple in circles and sighs. He stands up and says "Shut up now and come." He sticks his hand out offering the girl some help but Jae Mi's still on the climax of her sobbing. "Aish!" With the little patience Kai have, he pulled Jae's wrist and walked away from the crowd.
