"You have to tell him."
"But I don't want to."
"But you have to." Aspen sang. I groaned and flopped back on the bed.
"What if he doesn't believe me?" I asked.
"You have a paper signed by your doctor saying your pregnant, bring that with you when you tell him." She shrugged. I rubbed my face. Just the thought of me telling Avery I'm pregnant makes my heart race.
"I haven't seen him for a week Aspen, What if he's moved on? I mean he is the most richest guy in London. Plus he didn't love me so it would be easy for him to move on." I said. It was quiet.
"Just suck it up and go tell him." Aspen said in a soft voice. I groaned and sat up. I really didn't wanna tell him. Aspen handed me my Jeep keys.
I stood up and grabbed my favorite sweatshirt, slipping it over my head. As I walked out of my room I flipped aspen off, showing her I wasn't to thrilled about her making me tell Avery.
I walked downstairs and saw mom and Daren, sitting on the couch watching a show. I walked out of the house and got into the Jeep. I sat there for a while before driving down the long, gravel driveway.
Once I was on the one-lane road I started craving chocolate. I've been craving it all week but mom and aspen say I need to eat healthy stuff, but I don't see no aspen or mom so I'm getting chocolate.
Once I was in town I stopped at McDonald's, getting an chocolate ice cream cone. I took my sweet time eating it, promising myself that when I'm done I'm going straight to Avery's house.
About a good fifteen minutes later I drove to Avery's house. I was now parked across the street. I could see the guards that were around the golden gate eyeing my car. I hesitantly got out and started making my way over to them. The instantly smiled.
"Mrs. wood, nice to see you again." One guy names jerry said. I smiled at him and he smiled back.
"You to." I mumble. I could now hear my heartbeat.
"Hopefully you stay because Avery has been going crazy witho-"
"Shut up!" Another guard snapped, cutting him off. I looked at them confused.
"Go right ahead." He said as the gates opened. I walked up the driveway and to the porch. Maybe I should run for the hills.
I took a deep breath in and knocked on the door. The minute I heard someone grumble and make their way towards it I changed my mind. I turned around and went to sprint down the stairs but the door opened, making me stop in my tracks.
"Emerson?" Avery's rough, deep voice entered my ears. I turned around slowly to look at him. He had bags under his eyes, his beautiful blue were dull, and he stank and looked like shit.
"Avery?" I said more as a question. It surly didn't look like him. He looked at me as if he couldn't believe it, as if he expected to never see me again. Which I can't blame him, I excepted to never see him again.
Something flashed in his eyes but it vanished, "What are you doing here?" He asked. And here it was, the one thing I was dreading on telling him.
"Uh...Nothing I was just....shit." My face heated up in embarrassment. I turned around and went to walk away until a warm hand grabbed my wrist, making me stop.
"Tell me." He pleaded. I turned around and looked at him, his hand still around my wrist. His eyes flickered to my lips then back to my eyes.
Great, here comes back all these feelings. The tingles, my heart racing, the feeling of my heart being overloaded with the love I have for him. I miss him, but I won't show it. He cheated on me. I don't care if it was before or after we met, he should of stopped seeing her before the wedding.
"Do you want to come inside?" He asked, letting go of my wrist making me upset a little. I shook my head no,
"No. I won't be staying after I tell you." I fiddled with my fingers. I could see anger and sadness behind up in his eyes.
"Fine. Then tell me what you wanted to say." He gritted, crossing his arms.
"I'm not gonna tell you if your in a shitty mood." I crossed my arms over my chest. Here we go again with the arguing.
"Don't waist my time Emerson, tell me what you came to tell me." He snapped.
"Why Do you have to be so rude. Your lucky I even came over, considering I was planning on leaving and never coming back." I raised my voice at him.
"Then what changed your mind?" He smirked, leaning on the door frame. Even when he looks like complete shit he still looks hot.
"I-I'm..." I couldn't spit it out. He put his hand up, cupping his ear.
"Your what?" He asked. He was being such a prick. I'm glad I flipped aspen off before leaving the house, considering she's the one that told me to come over and tell him.
"I'M PREGNANT!" I screamed in his ear, making sure he could hear me. He quickly jolted his head away from me, cupping his ear. Serves him right for being such a prick. He looked at me surprised, but that quickly went away as he clenched his jaw and glared at me.
"Your lying." He gritted taking a step towards me. He was really angry, like he actually believed I was lying. Well, I can't blame him. That doctor told us I couldn't get pregnant.
"No I'm not. Here." I reached in my back pocket and took out the folded paper that said I was pregnant. I gave it to him and he stared at it for a minute before taking it. He opened it and I watched as his dull blue eyes read over it. He slowly looked up at me.
"Y-your pregnant." He states. I nodded my head and bit my lip. Well this is a little bit awkward.
What he did next took me by surprise. He stepped towards me and hugged me, tightly. Is he happy? Well of course Emerson or else he wouldn't be hugging you. I hesitated before I hugged him back. We stood like that for a little while. And let me tell you, I never wanted to let go.
