"Emma, go up to your room while me and your mother have a talk," My father said once we walked into the house I once called home, the house that I expected to never be back in in a long time.

"No-"

"Emerson Carolina Rose! Don't make me angrier than what I already am," dad gritted through his teeth. I looked at mom, only for her to give me a small nod.

I slowly walked upstairs and stood in front of my old room door. I pushed the door open, and old memories flew back. Nothing has changed in my old room, everything was just the way I left it.

As I sat down on my bed and looked at myself in the mirror, all I could think about was now there was no way we could stop this. Dad was for sure going to take my baby now.

Baileys POV (Emerson's mom)

I watched as Emma slowly walked up the stairs. My heart shattered as I watched her disappeared in the hallway. I was suppose to protect her, and now she's here in this house again.

"I'm so angry, I don't even know where to start," I heard the man I once loved growl. I looked over at him, and never have I seen him this angry. His eyes were pitch black, and his muscles were flexed. I could tell he was trying so hard to keep the anger in.

"I don't want to be here-" in a matter of second I was pushed up against the wall.

"I DON'T CARE IF YOU WANT TO BE HERE! THIS IS WHERE YOU BELONG, WITH ME! NOT WITH THAT PATHETIC BOY! EMERSON IS MY DAUGHTER, AND YOU ARE MY WIFE! YOU GUYS ARE MY FAMILY, NOT HIS!" Christopher screamed in my face. My heart pounded in my chest. I had never thought he would hurt me, no matter how angry he got. But the amount of anger he had storming in his eyes made me doubt my thoughts.

"If we were your family, you wouldn't of hurt us! Think Christopher! If you didn't force Emma to marry Avery, then she would still be in high school learning things! And if you didn't..." I trailed off, my eyes becoming watery and sobs escaping my mouth, "...if you didn't promise to give away our grandchild then we wouldn't of ran away!" I yelled. Tears now falling down my cheeks like waterfalls. I saw guilt swim in his eyes as he watched me breakdown crying.

"I told you that-"

"She's having a boy. She's having our grandson. She's been talking about naming him Jaxon, with an X to make him sound more strong and powerful. From the moment we found out she was pregnant all we could think about was the fact that we couldn't hid her forever, and you would soon find out about her pregnancy and give away the baby," I sobbed. he was silent as he took in my story.

"I have no choice but to give the baby away," he said flatly. My mouth dropped open.

"This is why I hate you. If only Daren way her father-" I wasn't able to finish the sentence, because his hand came in contact with the wall right beside my head, making me jump. All the guilt and sadness in his eyes was replaced with rage once again.

"DON'T YOU EVER SAY HIS NAME AGAIN! I AM EMERSONS FATHER, HE ISN'T! HE IS NOTHING!"

"IM IN LOVE WITH HIM! HES MY EVERYTHING!" I screamed back at Christopher. He then grabbed my hand tightly and yanked me with him as he walked down the hallway.

"What are you doing?" My voice shook.

"Like I said Bailey, your my wife. I love you. And anybody who becomes between us will just have to die," Once the words left his mouth I felt my heart drop, and my body become numb. Christopher yanked me down the stairs and into the basement. He unlocked a door and pushed me inside, and there is when the sobs escaped my mouth.

There sat the love of my life, the man I should of married, tied up in a chair and covered in blood. His arms were cut open, his lip was bruised, and his eye was black. He looked exhausted, he looked dead.

"Daren?" I sobbed. His eyes fluttered open to reveal the beautiful blue eyes I fell in love with.

"Bailey?" He asked, he started to sit up and struggle against the ties, but he was to weak. And it seemed like every move he made hurt him even more.

"Oh my gosh Daren!" I went to go walk to him only for me to be yanked back into a hard chest.

"Ah ah ah," Christopher tisked, "hold her." He told one of his mafia members as he pushed me in his arms.

"This is all my fault! I'm sorry Daren, I truly am. If you never of met me none of this would of happened!" I sobbed.

"Don't say that Bailey. I love you, and I'm glad we met," Daren gave me a small smile. I saw Christopher shake in anger at mine and Darens words.

"Hope you said everything you needed to, because that'll be your last words," Christopher gritted through his teeth as he pulled out a gun and aimed it at Daren. My eyes widened as I tried my hardest to break free of the mans grip.

"No! No don't do it, please!" I begged.

"You brought this onto yourself Bailey, you should of known not to fuck with me," Christopher snapped. I heard the gun click, and I knew I wasn't prepared for what was about to happen. I had to stand here, and watch my ex husband kill the love of my life.

My screams and sobs were the only thing heard in the basement. They echoed off the walls. My eyes watched closely as Christopher's finger wrapped around the trigger.
