A lot of people have came up to me and told me I looked beautiful. Of course I thanked them. It was awkward because I only knew like 5 people here. Other people were either Avery's family or just town people.

"Avery's looking for you." Aspen said once she walked over to me. I felt my cheeks heat up,

"Why?" I asked. She shrugged,

"I don't know."

I was about to say something until I saw Avery. Then he saw me and walked over to me. I felt my hands get sweaty. Please don't say anything about the kiss. I know he didn't feel what I felt.

"We ne-"

"Hey Emma, wanna dance?" Greyson cut Avery off. Avery glared daggers at Greyson.

"She's gonna dance with her husband, but we can dance." Aspen took Greyson's hand and walked off. He mumbled a small ok. Avery looked at me, then up and down my body. He held out his hand and I took it. We went to the middle of the dance floor and danced. His hands were on my waist and mine were around his neck.

"We need to talk." He said. I could smell his minty breath.

"Ok." I looked in his eyes. They were so cold and dark.

"You have to live with me now." He stared. I nodded my head.

"And about kids-"

"I don't want to talk about that." I looked away from his eyes. Sadness fell over me quickly. It was quiet as we kept dancing until mom walked up to us.

"I need to tell you something." She licked her lips.

"I know your divorcing dad, and getting full custody of me." I blurted out. She looked at me with wide eyes.

"I heard you and dad arguing last night when I came home..." I explained. She nodded her head,

"I'm sorry, Emma." She looked at the ground.

"It's fine mom." I said softly. She smiled at me. Her eyes looked passed me at someone,

"I'll be back." She walked away. I looked at Avery, to see him already staring down at me.

A few minutes later we cut the cake. We didn't stuff it in each other's face, Instead I stuffed it in aspens and Greyson's face and we had a cake fight. Just three best friends, shoving each other's faces in cakes. Then after that the wedding was over, and everyone went home. My dad stayed and cleaned up while mom and Avery took me home to clean up and take me to my new house, Avery's house. I was currently in the car, wearing sweatpants and a t shirt with my hair in a messy, wet bun.

"Are we almost there?" I ask, looking out the window.

"Stop whining." He growled, taking a left turn. I grumbled but stayed quiet. We've been driving for a straight hour now.

Now it's been 2 hours, and I'm getting tired and fidgety. I hate sitting in one spot for to long. I was about to say something else until we pulled up in front of a golden gate. It opened and revealed the most beautiful house I've ever seen.

"You live here?" I asked. He nodded his head and parked the car. I was itching to see the inside. He walked around the car and opened my door.  I quickly got out and he took my hand. I felt my cheeks heat up when he led me to the front door, opening it.

"Her bags are in the back." Avery said simply as he gave the keys to what I'm guessing were guards. They nodded and walked away as I admired the huge living room we were currently in.

"Woah." I breathed out once I say the tv.

"Come on." Avery said as he pulled me somewhere. Once I looked I saw that we were by an elevator. A freaking elevator.

"No stairs?" I asked. He just nodded as we stepped inside. He pushed the number 4. There is 6 floors. Once we were at floor 4 we walked out and I noticed it was a hallway. We walked down it and to a room.

"This is our room." He said, pushing open the door. My mouth dropped at the beauty. But his words spun in my mind,

"Our room?" I asked, confused as I looked up at him.

"That's what I said, isn't it?" He snapped.

"Damn sorry." I turned away from him and pulled my hand away from his grip. I walked over and sat on the very comfortable bed. I heard him sigh and walk away. I then decided to look around. A big walk in closet, a big connected bathroom. I'm liking this room already.

"Ma'am, your bags." A deep voice said. I sat up and looked at the guards setting down my bags. I mumbled a thank you and they walked away. I payed back down on my back and brought my left hand up to my face, admiring the diamond on my ring finger.

Maybe, if I don't back talk him and he doesn't be a dick, this could work out

Maybe, if I don't back talk him and he doesn't be a dick, this could work out. Just maybe.
