~Jennifer's POV

I'm home. I've just finished homework, and now, I'm lying at my bed. I've finished eating dinner, too. I look at my phone and saw the screen turning on. I immediately grab it, and saw that Jo texted me.

JO: Hey, I was wondering if you're still transferring to another school. So, are you?

I replied her. The conversation started.

JEN: Nope, I figured that I'll give the school a chance.

JO: Or is it because of..... ;)

JEN: Who?

JO: Did you know that he was the one who figured that you were crying?

JEN: Who? Josh?

JO: Yes! Did you know that he was totally concerned? He was even the one who said that we should go to the bathroom.

JEN: Really?

JO: Yes! So, is he the reason why you decided to stay?

JEN: Promise you won't tell him?

JO: Of course, why would I?

JEN: Josh kept me happy for the past few days......and I wanted to stay because of him.

JO: So?

JEN: I think I have a crush on Josh...

~Josephine's POV

Oh. My. Gosh. I did not just read that from my phone. Jen has a crush on.....

Just wow.

I couldn't reply her back. I didn't know what to say. Instead, I replied her after 5 minutes.

JO: Couldn't believe it. Congrats anyway! He's a really good guy. See you tomorrow, bye!

I stood up and no longer bothered to read her reply. I went to the bedroom across me, the one where my parents' friend's son was sleeping.

"Hey, Josh?" I asked him.

"Jo. What brings you here at my room?"

"Why do you wear glasses? I mean, look at you right now."

"I wanted to look like a nerd."

"Why?"

"So that I will know if the girl likes me because of my attitude, not because of my looks."

"So you mean, if a girl likes you right now, she likes you because you're nice?"

"Exactly."

"How about you?"

"What about me?"

"Do you like a girl?"

"Come on, Jo, you're my best friend since Ellie. I can trust you, right?"

"Of course, I mean, why not? You are my only friend until Jennifer came."

"You just said her name."

"Really?"

"Yup."

"You like Jennifer, too?"

"Too?"

"I like her too, I mean, as a friend." I almost got caught.

"Do you think she likes me back because I'm nice to her?"

"I'm not gonna lie, but I think there might be a chance. You were a gentleman to her. Every girl likes a gentleman."

"But do you think she likes me back?"

"I'm not Jen, Josh. I'm Jo. How could I possibly know what's in her head? Of course, we tell each other's secrets, but that doesn't mean that we tell each other all our secrets."

"So you're saying...."

"There might be a chance. I'm just not sure if I'm right."

"Do you even like me?"

"I'm not gonna lie either, but I did."

"So if you liked me, then does it mean that she could like me, too?"

"As I said, I'm not Jen."

I waved at him softly and went out his door. I was about to close his door when he said something to me.

"Jo, wait!"

"Yeah?"

"I'm sorry I kept asking. I'll just figure it out myself."

"Good luck with that."

"Oh, and another thing, can you forget this conversation happened? You know, for our friendship with Jen's sake."

"I will, don't worry."

I closed his door and went back to my room. I opened my phone and read Jen's message to me a while ago.

JEN: This conversation never happened, okay, Jo?

I replied to her in no time flat.

JO: SLR, yup, the conversation didn't happen. Goodnight, Jen :)

~Josh's POV

Hearing that Jo liked me before has no impact on me. The one that gave me an impact is that Jo thinks that Jen possibly has a crush on me. I lied down in bed, not noticing that I'm already sleeping. Then I had this dream.

It was those normal days, only this time, we were gathered in a circle and we were playing spin the bottle.

The bottle landed on Jen, and Mimi, our class socialite, asked her this question:

"Truth or Dare?"

"Truth."

"Who is the guy you like among the guys in our school?"

"Really?"

"Come on girl, we won't tell anyone."

"I'm just asking, but what if he's actually here with us?"

"Then he'll know, and whoever that is will be lucky because you are a really pretty girl."

"You think so?"

"Yeah. Go ahead. Tell us."

"I've known him since the first day. He helped me with my things at school when I accidentally bumped him and a friend, and he was the one who was beside me at the first day, since he's the only one I know because I moved schools. I liked him because inside and outside, he was the most perfect guy I ever met. I know that nobody's perfect, but when you have a crush on him, things are just wildly different. If you still don't know him, well, he's right here with us, and he's currently my best friend."

Everyone looked at me, then Jen, then me, then Jen, then back and forth until Mimi had a suggestion.

"Ummm....shall we call you Joshifer?"

And in that moment I wish that I have turned off my alarm.
