~Jennifer's POV
"So, Miss Lawrence, do you accept the offer?"
Once again, I was discovered. The only condition is, I have to graduate of high school two years earlier.
"Sir, I'll just think of it a little longer. See, making decisions like this for me requires time to think about it."
"Okay, but please know that this is a limited offer. You have talent, Miss Lawrence. Don't intend on wasting it."
I nodded my head. We shook hands, and he came out of the door. That talent scout seemed nice and friendly, and I badly wanted the offer.
Although, I could miss a lot of things this school year.....
"Sir, wait!" I tell the talent scout.
"Yes?" He looks at me.
"Please give me one more year. I will do it. Just please let me enjoy my Junior year in high school."
"Alright. We have a deal, Miss Lawrence." We shook hands again.
One more year. That is what I should do.
I have one more year to keep a low profile.
Once the talent manager was out of my sight, I wanted to text Jo, but for some reason, I can't. I don't want to. I guess I'll just keep it a surprise.
~Josephine's POV
"Oh my gosh, hi Jen!"
As soon as I get out of the car, I saw Jen coming towards us. I ran towards her as she ran towards me. I hugged her because I was happy that I finally got to see her again at the first day of school. Josh came near us afterwards. When I saw him, I moved and gave distance so that he and Jen can have their moment. For now, they decided to keep their relationship as a secret. So, they treat each other as friends, and I am the only person they trust.
So, you're asking, how are things with Nick and Emerald? Well, they are officially a couple, and Jen was right, it was their plan that Nick goes out with Jen, while Emerald goes out with Josh (didn't happen though), and their plan was to destroy our friendship, because they're friends with me. As of now, they've decided to leave us alone, since I convinced them to. Knowing that they need to know more about each other since they are important to each other made them think that getting revenge on me is a waste of time, and that they do need to know each other better.
School was a bit easier. We were lucky that we were put in the same class, and believe it or not, Scott is also our classmate. Everything was happy, and I was able to be friends with Scott on a deeper level.
But I don't want to share my romance with him, I mean, come on, do you need to know everything about Scott and I?
Well, Josh and Jen seemed to get along well. Josh takes Jen home, and I stay with them as backup. You know, that if they want to kiss on the lips, I'll take over the wheel, or maybe tell them somebody we know's coming, and we need to hide. Everything seemed okay, until one day....
Jen's mom was outside their house. She wasn't looking at us though, which gave us just enough time to reposition ourselves in a way that Jen's mom won't expect anything. When she came out, her mom saw her and asked her who we were, and what we were doing, and other things that I wasn't able to hear. After talking, Jen gave us the signal to get out. When we got out, we didn't expect her to be that nice.
~Josh's POV
"So you must be Jen's friends." She tells us when Jo and I went at Jen's sides.
"Mom, she's Jo, and he's Josh." Jen tells her in a nervous manner.
