~Josephine's POV

It's already January. Josh and I are walking around, because we have nothing else to do but wait for the drama club meeting. We were walking until we both stopped at this room.

Josh was right.

Nick is cheating on Jen!

"Did you see that?" I ask Josh, my mouth still wide open.

"I have to say, this is really disgusting." He tells me.

Nick....is kissing...Emerald......for like a hundred times....like nobody's watching.

"I guess you were right all along, Josh."

"I didn't know that I was."

We both looked at each other.

We decided to tell it to Jen secretly, in a way that she will believe us.

The meeting already happened, and Tracy and Trevor invited me to their house to look for more music after we let Mrs. Mason listen to what we've got so far.

"So, I guess I'll leave you now, Josh."

"Yeah, I figured."

We hugged and as we let go of each other to go our own ways, Jen waved me goodbye. I have to say, this was a bonding factor for her and for Josh.

~Josh's POV

I finally saw Jen act. She's a natural. She didn't seem like acting at all. When we practice, we always have to practice more when we're with our parents. But, when it comes to scenes with Jen, the only reminder to us would be that I stay here, I say that, and that we should memorize our lines. There was no comment about the way we acted, but the only scene that made things awkward is the kissing scene.

"Now, guys, here at practice, I can accept that you guys won't kiss. But please, when the day comes, I want a kiss, okay? That's it for today. You are all dismissed."

Every practice day was almost the same, except for one day. After I fix my stuff, I went immediately to my car. I still wasn't that used to Jo not being with me. I didn't pray for having somebody with me to come home, but it seemed like it was answered.

"Mom, please, I have no money left. Please, take me home."

I saw somebody sitting by the stairs. I heard that she was in a call. When I came closer, I saw Jen.

"Everything alright?" I ask her.

"I can't go home. I have no money left and my parents can't take me home." She tells me, almost weeping.

"Would you like to...umm..." I almost couldn't catch my words.

I can see her letting out a tear. I almost couldn't resist.

"I could give you a ride home." I tell her.

"No, it's fine, really." She tells me.

"Come on, you're the one who needs to get home." I tell her, almost persuading her.

"Are you sure?" She asks.

"I'm positive." I tell her cheerfully. As a headstart, I take her schoolbag with me and handing her my hand.

"Come on, it's alright." I tell her once more. She obeys like a schoolgirl who's going with a stranger - taking my hand innocently.

As we both head to my car, I opened the door for her, like a total gentleman. She thanked me, and still couldn't believe that I'm taking her home. I think I'm as sweet as how any boyfriend should be, but honestly, I have no idea on what I'm doing right now.
