Once the kitchen had been cleaned and Saffron had fixed dinner (not allowing Charlie to help again) the Weasley's and Saffron sat around the table digging into a delicious lasagne.
"Thank you so much dear for cooking," Molly smiled two seats down at Saffron. "That rest did me good!"
"I'm glad and it was no problem," Saffron replied trying hard not to laugh again.
The twins seemed to be having a harder time doing so. Their faces a bright red, and their cheeks almost bursting. They tried to hide their laughter by shoveling food into their mouths which wasn't helping as little soecks of it would fly out of their mouths.
"Fred, George," Molly scolded, taking another forkful of the lasagne.
Charlie raised his burnt arm above the table and took a napkin to dab around his mouth.
"Charlie!" Molly exclaimed. "Your arm! What happened?!" She stood up and made her way to Charlie, a worried expression plastered to her face.
"Just a little burn, nothing serious," Charlie shrugs and Molly leans over the bandaged arm.
"Yeah, Its alright mum," George sniggered.
"Saffron healed him up well enough," Fred joined in.
"Did you dear?" Molly asked, her eyes shooting to where Saffron was now squirming uncomfortably in her chair.
"Well, it's what I'm trained to do," she shrugged, her cheeks red as they all watched as she slowly chewed a price of lasagne.
"That's so kind of you dearie," Molly stood up straight again and shot Saffron a loving look.
The more she got to know Saffron the more she liked her. She also liked the way she got on with Charlie. It had been years since he had had a love interest and now Mrs Weasley could only hope that something may happen.
After dinner the twins disappeared again, Ginny went to shower and Bill and Fleur went to get ready for bed, Fleur adding that she would leave some clothes out for Saffron.
Only Mr and Mrs Weasley, Charlie and Saffron remained at the table. Saffron stood and began to stack the plates, Molly hurriedly stood up to stop her.
"It's alright dear, you go get ready for a shower. I'll wish up," she smiled taking the plates away with her wand.
"Are you sure Mrs Weasley?" Saffron asked.
"Of course dear. You did cook," she smiled in thanks.
"Well, if you're sure," Saffron said and Molly gave a quick nod.
"Well then, I should leave. Thank you so much for having me for dinner, and caring for me," Saffron thanked, tucking the dark wooden chair into the table.
"What? Leave?" Molly asked surprised. She hadn't really thought about her leaving, and now she did she didn't want her to. Not when there was a chance for her and Charlie.
"Yes, I'd hate to be a burden," Saffron said with a small smile. In truth she didn't want to leave either. In the few short hours if having met the Weasley's she really liked them, it was nice being around a family again.
Charlie also was hoping she would have stayed. He tried not to let the disappointment show on his face when Saffron said she would leave. It didn't go unnoticed by his father though, who could tell there was definitely something between the two.
"Rubbish, you must stay a little while longer," Molly said thinking up excuses to make her stay.
"It is still quite dangerous out there," Arthur added, making his way to his beloved wife's side.
"Mr Remus and-"
"Well yes they left but it's much more dangerous for you," Arthur burst out.
"Yes, especially in your health state. We don't know if it's safe for you to apparated or travel," Molly nodded.
"I thank you for your concern, only I can't impose on your family," Saffron said.
"Oh you wouldn't be imposing. Any friend if Fleurs is welcome here. Please stay just to be sure?" Molly asked pleadingly.
Saffron sighed, she sure did want to stay, it was safe and fun here. There was company and it was warm.
Her eyes travelled over to Charlie, her mind wondering what he thought, what he would have preferred. Did he want her to stay, or to go?
His bright blue eyes met her ones immediately, they held one word in which she understood.
Stay.
It was then that her mind was made up and she agreed to stay another night.
Arthur smiled and Molly almost squealed in delight. Charlie gave her a small smile in which she returned.
"How's about you take a shower now love. Bathrooms to the left of your room. There's a cupboard in there with towels, and toiletries. Use whatever you need," Molly smiled and Saffron smiled politely and made her way back up with a small thank you.
She went into her room and saw Fleur laying out some pyjamas.
"'Ere is zome pyjamaz and clothez for tomorrow. I will zee you in ze morning," she hugged Saffron tightly.
"Sleep well. Thank you Fleur," saffron smiled back.
Fleur just nodded and skipped merrily out of the room and back to her husband, excited to leave fire her honeymoon the next day.
Taking the silky, violet set of pyjamas, Saffron made her way easily to the bathroom and shut the door tightly.
Out of the cupboard she took a chocolate brown towel and some shampoo, conditioner and soap. She also noticed the creams Charlie had had that afternoon, and grabbed the lavender one again as well as two small cloths.
After stripping off and getting into the shower, she washed the grime away. She gently brushed a wet cloth over her scar and sighed.
How she hated the thing, the ugly think and all the hard work it had caused. In anger she scrubbed to hard and split the skin and made it bleed.
Sighing she switched the water off for a few moments, having already washed, and held the wet cloth to her stinging face.
It only took a few minutes for it to stop. She dried off and dressed before applying the lavender cream and tying her hair into a tight bun.
Picking up the clothes she put them into a basket labeled "dirty" and opened the bathroom door and stepped our into the hallwAy, bumbling slightly into Charlie.
"Oh sorry," Saffron exclaimed and pressed her back against the wall to give him as much space possible in the tiny hall which turned out to only be a few centermeters.
"That's alright. My fault. I was just in about to take a shower," he said, his face growing hot at how close they were standing.
He couldn't help but notice how her freckles stood out against her pale skin, how round her eyes looked and the different colours mixed around her scar. He was still fascinated with it, always itching to know the details but too polite to ask. He decided to allow her to tell him when she wanted to.
"Oh, I'll just move, sorry," Saffron blushed, shuffling down against the wall.
"Um, but first I was wondering, um, about my burn?" He asked nervously, as Saffron nodded, understanding.
"It should be ok now. It was only small, easy to heal," she said gently taking his thick arm in her small hands.
Her touch was gentle and soft as she carefully unwrapped the bandage very slowly.
It didn't hurt anymore and he was happy to be able to watch her as she concentrated on his arm.
Saffron pulled the bandage off completely and the burnt skin was now a very pale pink and nearly back to normal.
"You can get it wet, in fact that's a good idea. Just wash it carefully. It should be back to normal by morning," Saffron explained and Charlie nodded, listening to every sweet word she had to say. Her eyes looked up to meet his beautiful ones and she wondered how there was ever a guy so perfect to her eye.
Without warning Charlie leant in a little, reaching one hand up to gently touch her cheek, only he touched her scar, in the same place Saffron had split the skin.
Saffron flinched and pulled her head backward. Charlie was worried and hoped he hadn't offended or hurt her.
"I-," he began but she interrupted.
"It's fine, um, it's just sore. Um so yeah, wash your arm and un sleek well," a red faced Saffron stuttered sliding past Charlie to her room.
"I will," Charlie nodded slightly upset the moment was over. "You sleep well too,"
"Thank you."
